Excellent service and food! Their rolls and marinara sauce is fantastic. My husband isn't a bread eater, but their new rolls had him requested another round for us. Their new chef offered a more delicious version of Chicken Madera gravy...outstanding!

Not familiar with the area, I was looking for a convenient location to meet a friend for dinner. Google reviews for this place were pretty good so I figured we’d give it a shot. The restaurant was empty at 5p on a Wednesday- so no after work crowd. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. I asked for sparkling water, expecting a San Pellegrino. The bottled water came from Sam’s Club (Members Mark). Srsly. When it came time to order I asked if the tomatoes were fresh and good for the Caprese. Assured they were, I ordered a Caprese. Not good. The tomatoes were small and hard as a rock. Not what I was hoping for. My main was chicken parm with a side of pasta (I asked for penne in place of spaghetti and they accommodated my request). The chicken parm was a bit too thin and very dry. I suspect it was prepared ahead of time and reheated because it wasn’t very hot. The cheese was shredded and barely melted, so most of the heat and melting likely came from a salamander - even though they have a wood fired oven. The pasta was al dente and the sauce was just ok. We were offered pre grated cheese to top, not freshly grated off a block of Parmigiano Reggiano or Pecorino. I think they have a good vision for what they’re hoping to accomplish at D’Nonna. But if they can’t execute some pretty basic Italian menu staples any better than this, sadly they won’t be around for very long.

Great place in Old Town Lewisville. Fantastic food, good service and very reasonable prices.

Terrible service. The manager was our server and he ignored us all night. Food was just OK. They use precooked chicken filets, which are rubbery. I'll never go back. Terrible overall.
