   Food is plentiful and good. Staff is accommodating and efficient. Enjoyable and reasonably priced.

   Always a good spot in Litchfield. Relaxed dining. Nice menu. Great service. No stress outing.

   The food was incredible we loved both of our meals. There weren’t many people in the place (we were able to sit outside) it was a great night wether wise so we were pleased about that. Our service was very tentative and came over to us a few times to place our order without it being in a pushy way as we just weren’t ready bc everything looked amazing!! We finally decided and placed our order. Soups and salad came out he loved his salad and my French onion soups was fantastic. Our meals came exactly as we order and again were both delicious I had chicken parmigiana and he had a shrimp dish. Unfortunately this is where it changes, Since placing our orders we hadn’t seen our server.. so about 20-30 minutes now, there was 2 other servers that were also on the patio that made eye contact with us everytime but never once came over to see how we were or if we needed anything. I hade wine and water and he had iced tea all empty at this point. Finally our waitress came outside and walked over to us and asked if we were set of if we needed anything I said yes please another round of drinks, we’ve been empty for about 20 minutes but never saw you she took our glasses and walked away, as she walked into the building I was facing my boyfriend which meant I was facing the door she was walking into. There was a young boy sitting there who I had seen serve food so i knew he worked there he proceeded to mumble something to our server look at us and roll us eyes. When the server came back I explained that I saw what he did and it was unprofessional and uncalled for and that we didn’t appreciate him being rude or speaking negatively about us with out missing a beat she knew what I was talking about and apologized as she said it was inappropriate as well. She walked away and spoke to him as he got up and went inside. She came back out and said oh I do apologize that was inappropriate but he’s family so you know. Unfortunately this cemented the fact that we won’t return.

   DiFranco's is one of our favorite restaurants in the area. The food is consistently delicious and portions are generous enough that I usually take half home for lunch the next day. I especially like all their veal dishes.

   I haven’t been here since it became DiFranco’s. We went for Mother’s Day and sadly was not impressed. Food was pretty good and value for pricing, portions were generous and a large menu. But the Wait staff is lacking basic food handling procedures and etiquette. It appears to be run by all family. Thumbs in dishes when serving dinner to guests, chipped plates that allows bacteria to get into serving ware, when I asked them to wrap my pizza she took another diners plate and put it on top of my pizza and walked off to wrap it :( I ran restaurants for a living & that made me cringe. Bottom of dishes are dirty , handles by many hands & places on many surfaces - bottom of a plate should never touch food & servers need to keep their thumbs out of dishes/plates when carrying food. The restroom were very dirty too. Won’t go back.

   I choose DiFrancos with the hope of dining outside on the patio. It’s a nice setting, on the Litchfield green. The weather did not cooperate. We were pleasantly surprised by how lovely the inside experience was. Decor was current, clean, comfortable. Service was wonderful. Menu was plentiful. We had a party of 4, with all different entrees. Each dinner had a pleasing presentation , as well as a delicious taste! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

   We love the food at DiFranco's. Prices are reasonable and it is a great place to have dinner locally. We will return again this week as a matter of fact. Loved the special Veal limone with artichoke.
