We’ve always enjoyed Lescombes and we were looking forward to trying out this new location. Loved it! The food was excellent and the setting was very nice. They recently changed the menu and removed one of our favorite dishes (pasta with pistachio) which forced us to try something new - we were not disappointed. Looking forward to going back.

First of all the service was very good. Our server was very attentive. I ordered the same appetizer I had ordered on a previous visit and it wasn't the same. It was so much better the first time I had it. Second, I ordered the steak salad and ordered the steak medium well. It was much more medium than medium well. Way too much red for medium well. I just wasn't impressed with the salad.

We arrived on time and were seated within minutes, no issues. The table however was a little bit of an issue. It was sticky. Every glass, bowl or plate that sat in place for a second stuck to the table. The waitress was very attentive and the food was delicious! The timing could’ve used a little work IMO. Had I not asked to place my order, we would’ve continued to wait. This may be how it’s planned as it gives people time to socialize. Overall, we had no issues and really enjoyed our experience.

We made reservations for 4/20 when the calendar opened up for April the end of March. The reservation was for Easter Sunday. We could not find any info on the wrbsite for an Easter brunch and believed we were to order off the menu. Once we arrived the 3 girls at the desk were occupied talking amongst themselves and kind of ignored us. I managed to get one's attention and told her we had a reservation. She found our name and disappeared. I asked one of the other hostesses if we were to follow her and she said no. We're looking for a table. Next another hostess tells me to follow her and seats us in the lobby at a 2 top. I asked if there was another table further into the restaurant & she said no but you can wait for one. We agreed to take the table & she left. We sat about 5 minutes & no one showed up to give us menus or explain what appeared to be a brunch setup. I went back to the hostess station and asked about menus, then, another hostess explained the brunch & the cost & said our waiter would be over. Our waiter came over a few minutes later, took our drink order and invited us to the buffet. The food was quite good and there were lots of choices. We are gluten free out of necessity so we were happy to see meats, poultry, fish, fruit, rice, potatoes, green beans and salad. Gluten free bread and at least one dessert would have been nice but there appeared to be none. Overall, it was a fair experience but not the best given the cost and reputation of Lescombes. We were disappointed to have made a reservation and not get a table in the restaurant. Might I suggest that Hostesses be trained to greet every customer and explain the restaurant setup for Sundays? Also, what is the point of a reservation if one cannot sit in the restaurant itself AWAY from noise, traffic and cold breezes from the door? Thank you. SC Sexton

Service was bad. Food was cold and took 50 minutes to come out. 3/4 people’s food came out first. We ordered house salads, it took 20 minutes to get those. One person ordered steak, it was overcooked and one of the sides was missing. The waitress didn’t realize the side was missing. They were out of whiskey, they were out of several of the entrees. This is my first review of any restaurant, I just don’t feel the food/service was worth $200.

Was so excited to eat at Lescombes only to be very disappointed. I made a 7 pm reservation but didn't get seated until 7:25 pm. Sat at table for another 15 minutes without even being offered a glass of water by any of the 8-10 servers who just walked on by. Server finally came and apologized for his delay and blamed it on how busy they were. He began taking our order only to inform us that they were out of several dishes. We adjusted our order accordingly. I asked for lemon with my water but was told they were out of lemon. We were served our meals at 8 pm. My meal came with rice instead of mashed potatoes. When I brought this to the attention of our server he said he needed to look at the menu to check. He came back and apologized on behalf of the kitchen as they were also out of mashed potatoes and they just decided to supplement with rice. Strangely enough, my dinner plate came with half of a lemon when I was previously told that they were out of lemon. I did feel bad for our server as he was obviously overwhelmed and overworked. He was kind enough to take $10 off our bill to make up for the delay in being served and for the kitchen's mishap which I appreciated but we will probably never go back.

It took the waitress almost an hour to serve my girlfriend a class of wine. Initially, she delivered the wrong wine about 25 minutes in. And then it took her another 25 minutes to deliver the correct wine. Food was good. I’ve eaten here many times. Service last night was frustrating.

Our first time trying this location and this winery - with an out of town guest. Little did we know when making the reservation that they were hosting a wine club event (learned they expected 40 and had 65 attend). Arrived 6:25 for 6:30 reservation - waited till 6:40 to be seated (in a booth near the kitchen). Took a while to get initial service where we ordered 3 wine tastings. The wines are named very similar, confusing the selection process. Ordered an appetizer and finished it before the flights arrived. The flights come with no indication which wine is in which glass - the waitress rattles off the selection for you to remember as you process through them. A variety of wildly different tastes in the wine selections (our guest did NOT like 2 of the 4) - we were unable to agree on a bottle to order with dinner - so ordered glasses (and I did NOT get the one I liked best from the tastings). The food finally arrived - but no mashed potatoes - RICE had been substituted with no notification (the menu stated one could select fries or rice). By the end - we WAITED and WAITED for the “manager” to come over to listen to reasons why tonight was not best for service. At handing her the check - suggested she do something about our bill, she took the appetizers off the bill as a nice jester - but just doesn’t seem to make up for the sour experience. Another waitress came by and said after YEARS of being a waitress - this was the first time she CRIED. Food prices were very reasonable, but the meatloaf seemed burnt on the bottom. After 6 months at this location - they need a lot of CLEANUP to make this more memorable. Won’t be back SOON!!

Had to ask for a glass of wine 3 times before we actuall received it. Food took a long time to get. They said they were having an event going on. Doesn't matter. We are paying customers that deserve decent service. If you can't handle it, close the rest of the restaurant when you have events. Nice atmosphere tho.
