From our family to yours, Desert Moon is the premier California area restaurant providing guests with the complete culinary experience when it comes to enjoying traditional middle eastern and Palestinian cuisine. In the Middle Eastern culture, our foods consists of a vast array of hot and cold dishes, served in small size portions to allow the patron to sample and share a sizable variety of items.

At Desert Moon, our menu offers a selection of kebabs to seafood to an array of vegetarian items. We offer more than 50 meza items, ranging from familiar dishes, such as hummus, falafel and tabouleh to more traditional delicacies. Everything that we serve comes from original family recipes passed down through generations. With the supervision of our Chef and co-owner, Kal Ismail, each dish that is served is sure to bestow the quality and freshness that Desert Moon Grill is well known for.

Food is excellent. The staff were very nice. Some of the staff in the evening dress up which I find a bit cheesy. But overall a great place.

This place definitely counts as a neighborhood gem. It's in a strip mall with little signage however the inside is very nicely decorated. The food is great & genuinely nice staff. Can't wait to go back. Have one of the lamb or chicken entrees; stuffed grape leaves for a starter.

If the restaurant doesn't connect to the Open Table, it should been removed from this list on Open Table. It is embarrassing to make the reservation and learn that the restaurant does not accept or gets any notifications from the Open Table.

When we arrived, we had confirmed reservations for a party of 6 at 6:30 pm. The restaurant was empty. The host told me there was a problem with Open Table. The restaurant was closed for Ramadan until 7:15 and the reservation should not have been made or confirmed. It was not only inconvenient for all 6 of our party to meet at this location (we were driving from different directions to a centralized location) but also embarrassing to me, as the organizer.

Great experience always at Desert Moon. Sofian is very professional and delightful in general! I strongly recommend this place. Have a great buffet in Ramadan.

Staff at Desert Moon couldn’t locate our reservation as only the owner had access to open table booking My party had to wait 30 minutes for a table, we were seated into two booths across from each other They forget to bring my order, the rest of my party’s order didn’t come at the same time It took over 15 minutes from the time the first meal came out to the time the last meal was served The waiter didn’t notice that one of the meals was missing until I bought it to his attention when we asked for the bill, to remove from bill He then offered to check with the kitchen We ordered coffee, the waiter asked to taste the coffee to make sure it’s warm enough instead of bringing out fresh coffee. I love the place and will go again, but I don’t believe it’s fit for special occasions
