   We were the only 6 people in the restaurant so it was liked we had our own personal chef & waitress and then done a fantastic job. We found out that the restaurant is closing down on the 31st July I find that very sad as we have been to the hotel on several occasions for dinner, Sunday dinner and afternoon tea and enjoyed every single occasion Good luck what ever you future brings Regards Mrs Lyn smith

   We visited on a recommendation and it was worth it. Beautiful inside, lovely decoration, great service and AMAZING food. I had my first oyster and it was so fresh it was delicious. I would recommend wholeheartedly

   Hotelrooms are unique and owners have never heard of our "Scandinavian less-is-more". However staff is helpful and kind. Rooms are tidy, location and prising is really Good value for money. Breakfast is good, but dinner food is not that great. One of our worst buillabaises ever.

   Wow the decor was fantastic loved this place. Staff were friendly and efficient. Food excellent wish we lived closer as only visiting area.

   We were greeted on arrival and shown through to the bar. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were given enough time to have a drink before being shown through to our table. The restaurant was bright, clean and comfortable. We had a delightful lunch and the service was perfect.

   Lovely evening except for the loud group sitting next to us... nice food in tasting menu although one fish course was a bit average and one was not available so we had to have an alternative which was lovely anyway. When I booked I wasn't informed I may need to prebook the tasting menu.

   Lovely service. Food was good, nice touch with a delicious complementary amuse bouche. My main of asparagus linguine was the only small disappointment as it was nice but not extraordinary. Good atmosphere and will come again in autumn.

   Our first visit was for a Sunday Lunch. A pleasant experience. Hotel decor is very attractive and the service was efficient. Food was excellent and just the right portions. We were recommended by a friend who had dined there who described the food as excellent and we were not disappointed. A few pots of colourful flowers around the front entrance would be an added bonus but this is only a suggestion and not a reflection on the overall experience which was first class.

    Had a lovely lunch for my mums Mother's Day treat, but was disappointed at my mums dessert, she asked for just ice cream as there was nothing she liked on menu, when it came she had one very small scoop and we were charged for a two courses £21.95 which if she had three scoops it would have been fine I gave her my ice cream off my profiteroles as she didn't want to make a fuss.
