   My first time here. The food was amazing. Had a wonderful table off to a corner and the service was outstanding. We ended up get the platter with all the entres as we didn’t quite know what to order. The platter says it feeds 6. Their were 4 of us and we took home 4 full meals. The beer was also amazing. Parking is a snap with the garage directly across the street. If you like German food and beer, you simply must try this place.

   We decided to enjoy some German food for a change. We walked 3 blocks in 20 degree weather to get there. Be prepared to climb several sets of stairs to reach the restaurant. We were seated right away, but were wondering why they sat us out in the colder closed in patio, when there seemed to be room in the main dining hall. Our waiter was excellent and gave us great service and detailed explanations on the menu. We had the large pretzel and decided on one of the many German main dishes. It was a breaded pork filet cooked to perfection. We finished off with German chocolate cake Overall our experience was alright, the waiter did his best, but between watching the bar and taking care of tables, he was stretched thin.

   My wife is German and we are always looking for an authentic German restaurant with good German food. This is it! The food was outstanding and we will certainly be going back.

   Restaurant was very quiet. We arrived early for our reservation and were seated quickly. The server was very pleasant and attentive. Large pretzel and wurstplat as appetizers were quite good. Both had jaegerschnitel. A sizable portion that was delicious. A very pleasant time

   This is our go-to restaurant during the Tradeshows we attend. Everyone crowds up at the Mart and for the most part leave the restaurants on this street alone. Here is authentic German food and draft beers hard to get anywhere else. If you love German food, it is a must visit.

   We’re new to Atlanta & were looking for a German restaurant. It was a weeknight so we were the only people there. They have a nice outside area too. We ordered the giant pretzel & a meat and cheese plate. Both were awesome. But I was way too full to eat dinner. My husband and I both order the brat in a bun. It came with sauerkraut & German potato salad. The brat was the best I’ve ever had. Very little salt. It is bland on its own. But with the sauerkraut it was delicious. I don’t know very much about German food. My husband said it’s authentic.

    We’ve debated coming here for the past couple years since moving from Germany to Georgia. We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. I ordered what in my opionion is the toughest dish to replicate, sauerbraten. It was well done and the gravy was pretty good; often times it can either be way to sweet or too much vinegar. The only suggestion I would have is to slice the meat into thinner slices so you have more gravy evenly distributed over the meat. I also would take the French fries off that plate; kind of bummed no dumplings were to be found on the menu at all! The portion was huge and price was good as were all of our selections. Beer selection was pretty good as well. We will be back when back in town for sure.
