   We have dined a Delta's several times prior to the menu change and we're always very pleased. We were very disappointed withe the new menu and the addition of the $8 per person entertainment fee. Additionally we did not appreciate the attitude of the greeter/manager. Although she was "professional" there with a visible undercurrent of nastiness that our entire party felt put off by. While most of the food was tasty, the experience was diminished by the unnecessary changes and the attitude of the greeter/manager.

   This was our first time coming here and we were celebrating an anniversary. They made it so special and really went out of their way to help us celebrate. They had live music this night and it was the perfect noise level, we didn’t have to struggle to hear each other. Every item we tried was amazing I don’t have a single complaint about this place. The food came out fast, the service was attentive but not over baring. We will definitely be going back!

   I came to Deltas with my boyfriend to celebrate my birthday and in-turn had my birthday ruined by the establishment manager. We arrive to the establishment I had my cake in hand and the manager tells me we charge for outside cakes being brought in she stated it says it when I booked the reservation I was shocked because I did not see anything stated. The manager said she would hold the cake in the refrigerator for us until we leave. I was also informed of the entertainment fee per person wasn’t aware of that either because I visited this establishment for my birthday in 2021 had an amazing time and I brought my cake in. I realized that is stated in the booking and on the company website but nowhere is it stated about the cake fee. I asked the manager can she show me where it’s stated about the cake fee she could not find any where. It gave me reason to believe she made it up. I asked her since we can’t find the policy could we waver the fee it’s my birthday that lady looked me straight in the eye and said no I have to stand on business. I was livid so we decided to leave and as we were leaving she states I was gonna comp the cake fee but since your leaving enjoy your birthday. I have never been treated so nasty in a restaurant especially by someone who is the manager. I advise everyone go somewhere else for your birthday where you are treated with respect!

   We have been customers of Delta’s since their Day1.The food was a staple in the city and we loved having a beautiful fun filled place to come to and dine. Pricing doesn’t matter to us as we spend accordingly to the overall delivery. But, the menu has drastically changed and what we valued was the true authenticity of the “Soul Food.” - It’s just not that anymore. We are not sure if the chefs have changed or what but now we have to pay for cornbread and there are a more family shareable as opposed to having your own side dishes w/ your entree. It is difficult to find simple soul food dishes and the whiting has been removed. The price just doesn’t match the food quality anymore. We will still patronize as we just simply have a love Jones for this place but the food needs to return to its original recipes for real Soul Food.
