   Del Pez is my go to restaurant when dining in Newark. You can't go wrong with what ever you order off the menu. -Gretchen

   Wednesday nacho night is a must go! The yucca chip nachos are awesome and half priced on Wednesday nights. Pair the nachos with a delicious Mexican Mule--you won't be disappointed!

   Eight of us attended for a birthday party. We were told they couldn't find reservation, but were seated anyway, as the restaurant was not busy. Drinks came quickly. Appetizers were brought out with main courses. One of the group received no entree. Waitress did not check back with us until we waved hands in the air and manager noted us. Waitress had been hanging outside talking with friends. Service was very poor, you could tell waitress wasn't quite listening to orders, as several were incorrect. Food overall was tasty, but unsure we would return due to service.

   I'm sorry but I wasn't impressed. Tables too close. The guy next to us had to get up to let us out. Way too noisy. I had a wedge salad with salmon and pork belly. The wedge was way too big and hard, the fish and pork was awesome but not enough. I got fried plantains and the we're not crispy but oily. The wait staff was nice. The price was too much. I'm glad I tried it though.

   We are local, and come here reasonably often. The menu has changed for the better since our last visit, and the food was all really good. The waitstaff seemed overwhelmed, based on the time required for bar and food service.

   Made reservations for my boyfriends birthday dinner, food was wonderful expect we both felt sick afterwards. Staff was kind in apologizing.

   Nothing special. Food was basic and bland. The look and feel of the place is underwhelming...feels like a dive bar. Wait staff was polite.

   Great Restaurant! Have been multiple times and always great food and service! Definitely recommend this place and come hungry they serve healthy portions

    We went for brunch with a party of 9. The restaurant did not seem crowded, although they informed us they had several large tables and pre apologized if there was a long wait. We waited over 30 minutes for our drinks, and never got our appetizers because the entrees came out first (another hour later). Our server was not attentive, and we had to call a manager over. The manager did comp us 25% off our bill and the food was a good deal, but the service was unacceptably slow.
