   We reserved this table several weeks ago and I even checked with the host two days prior to make sure everything was in order. I was excited to try the restaurant again since my husband and I had a lovely date night here on one of our many trips to Florence. He has since passed away and I was hoping to share the experience with our son and other family. When we arrived I was greeted by a very rude server who loudly said over and again, “madame we are closed at 10:30”. When I insisted I had reservations finally someone came over to help. It was embarrassing and upsetting to say the least since it was in the middle of the dining room. We were escorted to the last available table upstairs. The server we ended up with was very nice. A member of our party fell down the stairs when going to the restroom and only the server asked if he was okay. The entire evening was a disaster since it started so rudely and I couldn’t recover from it. We left before the meal was served. You would think a manager or host would have apologized or asked if our party was okay. You would have thought they would have treated people better.
