   The Mountain view was spectacular, the food was exceptional and the waitstaff was on their game. This was our first meal on the island and I have to give the whole experience high marks! Sean

   What a view! It set the tone for a beautiful afternoon into sunset to have a view of Diamond Head. This is in the Queen Kapiolani restaurant, 3rd floor. Park across he street at the zoo. The parking meter takes credit cards and you have four hours to park. The hostesses were friendly and accomodating. The tip is to go at happy hour where each day features a cocktail of the day at a discount. We ordered off the happy hour menu and it was great. Truffle fries, Caesar salad and short rib. We were a party of two ladies and it was enough to share. Our waitress was delightful. So friendly and took care of our every need. If you are a local Hawaii resident, you receive a 15% discount by showing your id. What a great place to take visitors, enjoy the food and food.

   The server looked really overwhelmed. They are definitely understaffed. We waited awhile for everything and they kept getting my husbands order wrong. Also, we’ve been to Decks several times before and had great experiences but the food this time was disappointing. The soufflé pancakes just tasted like eggs. Very disappointing. We’ve had it before and it was delicious.

   Food is great they have different menus for bfast, brunch and lunch, never been for dinner. Food lowkey expensive but the quality is worth it. Please get the French toast you will not regret it

   Very friendly staff- engaged & helpful. Small portion size for the calamari. The St Louis style ribs did not have the cartilage removed. Tasty, but very very fatty.

   The birds have always been a problem, but I have always been able to ignore them. This time around, a bird landed on my beer, spilling it onto my laptop (I come often for client lunches). Luckily it hasn’t caused problems to the laptop (as of yet), but I can tell the birds were visibly annoying other customers as well.

    The view is AMAZING of Diamondhead. Fantastic atmosphere. Very family filled. It is poolside for the hotel guests. Took the waiter a while to get us started but he was great after that. Best chicken wings ever. Did not care for the mustard glaze on the ribs but that’s just me.Chicken was incredibly moist..gotta love Sous vied technique. Wish they weren’t out of sushi that night, woulda been perfection.
