   Food excellent. 2 out of 3 in our party ordered the fish pie which was quite popular throughout the restaurant and was a great hit at our table.

   Seated, they had no record of my booking. Sat for 20 mins, not offered a drink. We asked for a drink and had to ask for a menu. After a further 10 minutes we received our coffee and was told that if we want breakfast it would be an extremely long wait as they are serving a large group at the back of the restaurant and they only have one working hob. Waste of time, should’ve been told the situation as soon as we walked in. We left and went elsewhere.

   We booked a room for a work Xmas meal, the room was amazing and the place itself is a real gem. We were a bit disappointed by the beer/ale options (no cask, no guinness, two or three beers that weren't in bottles) but honestly that's the only real gripe - thanks to all the staff, they were amazing. Will come back next year!

   Booked this very last minute with some girl friends. We were chuffed to find ourselves in a little private dining room and away from the noisy bar area. The food was really good - everyone enjoyed their meals. The staff were lovely - friendly, helpful and accommodating.
