   I never write reviews, but this was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant and I love going out to eat. We actually live in the Seaport, but I may never go back to Davios again. Luckily, there are lots of other choices in Seaport and Boston that are much better. They over booked their tables. They ended up seating us in the way back near a drafty cold door and we were four people at a two person table. Our waiter was nice, but we did not get our food for hours. We waited so long and we were at such a horrible table, we came very close to just leaving. Very horrible Christmas Eve experience. Also, the food was horrible it was like their chef(s) walked out. Never again!!!

   The Server was horrible , it was a busy night however i was there w my 3 girls for our annual Christmas dinner and the server was late to the table never introduced himself i had to ask to order apps n drinks apps came before the drinks for the girls i was asking him questions about the menu and i was rushed he barely checked on us by the time he did the kids didnt even want dessert they just wanted to go home i had to go to the front desk to cash out my check this was my 1st time at Davios and very disappointed that the server ruined my experience

   We did have to wait to be seated, after making a reservation many weeks ago. The hot seafood tower was good although some of the seafood was texturely unappealing (mainly the shrimp) dinners were good, sides were ok, waiter was very attentive, but so busy that he did often disappear , will probably go back at a non peak time

   Our waiter was very rude. I have written to the General Manager and did not hear back! The waiter dropped several wine glasses, which was an accident, and we were reassuring that we were fine and it could happen to anyone but from that moment on his attitude became that of a spoiled child! He brought over coffee which was cold and when we told him he was angry and stormed away. We waited 20 minutes before he brought over new cups for the coffee and literally slammed them down on the table. He returned with hot coffee, poured it and said nothing. He then sent a runner to give us our check and then a few moments later he returned to the table and tossed another check in the middle of the table and walked away. Extremely rude. We sent an email to the General Manager the next morning but have not heard back. There were 6 of us at dinner and we left there in disbelief. We did not see a manager that evening as it was very crowded and figured it was best to send an email the next day. We have never had service that rude a restaurant like Davio's. We will not be returning.

   Service and food were both excellent! My mom, my daughter and I were lucky enough to have August take care of us and the entire evening was perfect. Table-side Caesar salad was so fun they let my daughter join in and she loved it. This is our annual trip to Seaport Davios and can’t wait to go back!

   Over a month ago I made reservations at Davios for 6:15 on Thanksgiving Day. We arrived at 6:15 and were informed our table was not ready, up to a 20 minute wait. We were disappointed but more than that there was no where to sit at the restaurant to wait. There was probably 60 people who were waiting to be seated all hovering around while waiters were frantically trying to get food out. It was a frantic mess and you could feel it, anything but calming. 20, minutes later, we are still waiting. I went up to the hostess to inquire as it had been 20 minutes and she was anything but kind saying well now maybe its 45. Again, no where to stand and wait, let alone sit down. We were finally seated after 7 PM for our 6:15 reservations, party of 3. In other upscale restaurants when this has happened they’ve offered a glass of champagne or dessert to help offset the mess. Davios did none of that but worse yet their staff didn’t seem to care. Nonetheless, the food was great with a solid wine selection.

    A family favorite. Bumpier experience than usual as they were PACKED for Thanksgiving. Confusion about our table as they led us around the first and second floor of the restaurant, couldn't find the right table, then set us up in a makeshift table in a makeshift location. Not ideal. Given free dessert for the situation, which was nice. Our server was very good.
