Travelled up from Cheshire to meet our brother and wife for lunch. Decided to have the set menu for £12.95. We weren't disappointed. There were 7 of us , 2 of whom are very, very choosy. There was not one single grumble, the 2 courses eaten were delicious. The entertainment and service provided by Sergio was worth travelling the distance for alone. We loved him.

NOTE: Dante’s does NOT use OpenTable anymore. We turned up and they told us they didn’t have our booking as they don’t use OpenTable and were having trouble being taken off this reservations system. So either call or use ToDo to make a booking or else you won’t have a table waiting for you!

As my table was not booked we arrived on NYE to being told that we had no table, our plans and our night was ruined. The restaurant said that they are not part of Opentable and have told you to remove them from your site. I have been credited with points on my account but that does not compensate for our NYE !!!!!!!!!!!!! I have emailed you but received no response

WARNING! OPEN TABLE DOES NOT LINK UP WITH DANTES! Open table allows you to book, but on arrival Dantes claim not to use the open table system. Therefore, we effectively didn't have a booking. Got lucky this time as they managed to fit us in. Don't use in future - call directly instead.
