   Everything was nearly perfect, except for a brief moment of confusion at the entrance. The food exceeded expectations—the bold yet balanced flavor combinations were truly impressive. Unfortunately, we had to drive so couldn’t enjoy the wine, which would’ve elevated the experience even more. The dessert was a lovely surprise. If we hadn’t been so full, we definitely would’ve stayed for a coffee to savor it all. The ambiance took us straight to Rome, especially the window design that masterfully played with natural light throughout the day.

   I celebrated my birthday at Da Nico with my family, including my 2.5-year-old, and we had a wonderful time. The staff were warm and welcoming, the service was top-notch, and the food was absolutely delicious, especially the cod fish and pasta. We’ll definitely be back!

   Absolutely incredible experience! The service was top notch and our server Nazar made sure all the fine details were taken care of. And the food is out of this world! Thank you Chef Danielle and the team for a sensational culinary experience!

   Amazing experience from start to finish. The service was amazing and the food outstanding. Meeting Chef Daniele and touring the wine cellar were also an added bonus.

   Oustanding. Great overall experience from A to Z. Food was amazing and the quality of service highly reflects this restaurants' more than well deserved Michelin Star. Wouldn't be surprised to see Danico obtain 2 Michelin Stars next time around. Special thanks to our server Mirko, assistant Ashleigh and Head Sommelier Jeffrey, and kudos to all the staff at Danico for top notch service and a memorable experience. Despite its young age, there is no doubt that this establishment is already one of Toronto's great restaurants and will quickly be recognized as a ''must-see'' culinary institution in the Queen City.

   We had a great experience at Danico! The tasting menu was fantastic and the service from Mirko and the sommelier was friendly and professional. They shared their knowledge of wine and Italian food with us and even gave us great tips for our trip to Italy! We even met the chef and his team prepared the best pasta pomodoro for our son. We feel lucky to had the chance to experience Danico during our trip to Toronto!

   The tasting menu was excellent, tasty food, good portion and nicely plated. Our party of 8 was at the chef’s table and very nice to get to experience and visualize the preparation of the dishes. It was very odd at the end that they only bought the portion for 6 people on their last dessert. When we asked whether they just missed the count. They told us that they purposely didn’t bring enough as it was the last dish and guests might be already full. They did bring us the missing 2 portions when we asked. Certainly a very odd thing for a Michelin Star restaurant to do. We were at a Michelin Star restaurant in Tokyo last Dec. They predicted that we couldn’t finished their desserts and they advised us which kinds were good to eat at there and which kinds were good to pack home. Perhaps this is something that DaNico can consider if they are concern about wasting food. All in all, the experience was good, it was just this odd dessert arrangement that put us off a bit.

   Gram was our server and was fantastic. The food was good. The price point was a little bit high.

    Great food, service and ambience. All this considered the price is very fair. In my opinion better choice than the other 2 Michelin Italian restaurants in Toronto. Our server was great and had a chance to speak to the chef who was very hospitable, and rightfully proud of his restaurant!
