   The food was amazing — every dish was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The service was truly exceptional. Our server, George, was fantastic, and even though it was our first visit, we were treated like VIPs by the whole team. The vibe here exceeded all expectations. The chic renovation gives the space a fresh, elegant feel, and the open kitchen is spotless and stylish. It’s a real pleasure to watch the chefs at work. A special highlight — don’t miss trying a coffee brewed from their 40-year-old espresso machine. It’s a must! I originally came for the food, but it’s the impeccable service that will keep me coming back. I requested a quieter table with less foot traffic, and not only did they give me the perfect spot, but they also promised to remember it for my future visits. Highly recommend — DaNico is a gem!

   I would come back to Toronto just for this tasting menu!! What a perfect combination of flavors, textures and colors! It was perfect. I’m so happy I went there even though I was on my own (last night of a business trip): 1000% worth it. The staff was very thoughtful, professional and warm. Thank you for this fabulous evening.    Dined here for a second time and opted for the a la carte again. Some different menu items from the first we attended. Everything was exquisite. Very attentive service .

   Everything was nearly perfect, except for a brief moment of confusion at the entrance. The food exceeded expectations—the bold yet balanced flavor combinations were truly impressive. Unfortunately, we had to drive so couldn’t enjoy the wine, which would’ve elevated the experience even more. The dessert was a lovely surprise. If we hadn’t been so full, we definitely would’ve stayed for a coffee to savor it all. The ambiance took us straight to Rome, especially the window design that masterfully played with natural light throughout the day.

   I celebrated my birthday at Da Nico with my family, including my 2.5-year-old, and we had a wonderful time. The staff were warm and welcoming, the service was top-notch, and the food was absolutely delicious, especially the cod fish and pasta. We’ll definitely be back!

   Absolutely incredible experience! The service was top notch and our server Nazar made sure all the fine details were taken care of. And the food is out of this world! Thank you Chef Danielle and the team for a sensational culinary experience!

    Amazing experience from start to finish. The service was amazing and the food outstanding. Meeting Chef Daniele and touring the wine cellar were also an added bonus.
