Please be advised that the reservation is for the Izakaya on the second floor and not the ramen shop on the first floor. The ramen menu is not available at the Izakaya. The Izakaya, located on the second floor of Daikaya, is a casual restaurant that serves Japanese comfort food to accompany a diverse selection of bar offerings. The izakaya experience is perfect for after work, before a big night out, as a full supper, or for late-night bites with friends. The cuisine is freestyle and adaptive in nature. Food was average and small portions. It was an effort to get soy sauce for our sushi and nigiri - amazing. The waiter continued to bring out small rations of soy sauce. My daughter had to wait 15 mins for wasabi. Something is off with this restaurant. I don't understand the high ratings. Constant requirement to ask for things because they are so cheap was annoying.

It has a great theme and the service was great food just wasn’t good. Tried several different things and none were great which is a shame.

I recommend only going once. The menu doesn’t seem to change and it’s a little pricey for what you get. However, the atmosphere is awesome if you just going for drinks.

Great place for dinner before a show. The service is fast and attentive. The food is delicious. Follow their advice on what to order. Grilled avocado is more delicious than we imagined.

After reading some of the mixed reviews I decided to take a chance, and I was not disappointed. The portions were perfect ( small plates but good for sharing). Was able to try multiple different dishes for a great price. The environment was lively but enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit!

I will never set foot in this place again! Your menu now sucks. I come for all the dishes you took out of the menu. Basically you are not even allowing people who want to pay more for the extra tariffs to eat what they want.

The reviews say Japanese tavern food. The small plates are creative, attractively presented and delicious. Was surprised by the ingredients as not traditionally Japanese but the flavors were deliciously Asian.
