   There was a long period between appetizer and entree - like 45 mins. No one came by and asked how we were doing or apologize for delay. Fried were cold by the time they got the table. With those prices, everything needs to be on point. Not really worth the cost. $27 for a burger?

   I would not recommend lunch at Dagon. The menu is very limited with not particularly appetizing choices. The chicken plate was dry, mediocre fries and feeble ( but eatable) salad. You could not order anything other than exactly as listed. You had to accept an overdone burger that could not be cooked to medium. The special desert was the only bright spot. It was fine. The décor and ambience were good. Too bad they did not offer better choices in this very limited menu. Maybe they do a better job for dinner.

   The food was absolutely delicious - try the mezze! And our waiter was stupendous- attentive, good humored and handsome:)

   Wonderful food and service- enjoyed everything we had and our waiter was attentive kind and helpful.

   I ordered the "Israeli Breakfast" with eggs over easy. The eggs were completely overdone, barely edible. The "Israeli Salad" was just chopped cucumber -- the worst Israeli salad I have ever had, and I really like Israeli salad. What happened to the other ingredients? This for $29? Not happy and will not be back. I organized a party of 5 and was slightly embarrased to have brought everyone there. You folks have a lot of work to do. The bread was excellent.

   Fantastic brunch, except for how loud the music was. I could barely keep up a conversation.

   New menu is much improved, especially the kebabs. Suggest to bring back the Jerusalem Bagel:

    Nice service, friendly and didn’t rush us, explained the food thoroughly. Delicious appetizers but none of us were crazy about the main courses (mushrooms on a skewer weirdly soft and with a gravy-like sauce that is truly unappealing to vegetarians; chicken also weird). - Also very good Israeli wine and beer. The noise level way too high and the background music an added annoyance. When will NYC restaurants understand how unpleasant it is to eat in an ear-splitting environment? Awfully pricey but that is everywhere and they need to stay afloat. Will use henceforth either for take-out or will sit outside in summer.
