   Proper Vietnamese food served by a very friendly bunch of staff. Having been to Vietnam the food was spot on, and the service was excellent. Some mistakes over food quickly sorted out but then this is a family place not a McD's. Superb Saigon beer (333 for those that have been there)and excellent caring service. Will definately recommend and will come again next time in Hammersmith

   Myself and the Mrs went mid Nov 15 and had an enjoyable time. Not particularly busy, so food arrived swiftly etc. Would consider Da Nang again.

   Da Nang in my view serves the freshest, most delicious and reasonably priced Vietnamese restaurant in London. The set lunch for £7.95 is outrageously good value and could easily be price at double or even treble that price at other restaurants. The salt and chilli squid starter was beautifully cooked, crispy light batter and fresh squid. My partner had summer rolls which we equally delicious. Main courses kept up the remarkable standards, Chicken Rengan tasted similar to Massaman curry but superior, while stewed pork was really succulent meat served with egg and a superb broth. Add to this some of friendliest staff anywhere and you have one of the most pleasant places to eat in London…really no exaggeration!

   we booked for a 5.30 sitting as we were going to the Theater for 8PM so it was quiet. The food was outstanding and there was plenty of it. I loved the soft shell crab starter and the Seabass and Duck were brilliant.

   Dined here after having been to the other Vietnamese restaurants nearby (Saigon Saigon, Pho, Ngon). We tried the vietnamese pancake, spring rolls, minced pork vermicelli and clay pot vermicelli. A major complaint was that the pancake and spring rolls were served with lettuce and some salad leaves, which were already brown and starting to go off so that was not pleasant. The seafood in the pancake was very fresh and juicy though the pancake itself was far too oily. The noodles were presented sloppily, although edible we personally would not recommend them. The restaurant could do with an uplift generally, the whole place felt gloomy. I was also slightly uncomfortable as the moment we walked in and were shown to our table, I noticed there was a table nearby where the staff were eating which is not a problem of course but the three lady staff members for some reason were staring us up and down for quite a while - even when I was perusing the menu and having a conversation with the other half I could see them staring out of the corner of my eye! Which was uncomfortable to say the least.

   Great food, friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. We enjoyed the crispy Vietnamese rolls and the duck for our main. Def recommend.

   Excellent food, brilliant service - patient and kind, attentive but not overly so. Papaya salad is the best.

   Our numbers unexpectedly increased beyond the booked number but Da Nang were quick to accommodate. The billing was also easy as they had already split out the bills by person. Great service!

    Went there for dinner, and although we enjoyed the meal overall, the food averagely good. This was disappointing, especially after having read excellent reviews about this restaurant. The waiters/waitresses were friendly but didn't seem to pay attention to the diners enough. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to a friend, purely because I've had better - but if you're in Hammersmith and in dire need of Vietnamese food, then Da Nang will be ok to satisfy that need.
