   The food was absolutely excellent. A delightful blend of jamaican, panamanian, and other central american cuisines. The service was wonderful. And their accomodations/adjustments for dine-in in the time of COVID were barely noticeable, meaning that the done in experience was lovely, but we were still well spaced and could tell extra precautions were in place.

   First, the good: The food is absolutely amazing! The dish combinations are phenomenal and the spices and flavoring is fantastic. I 100% recommend the food. The service was also great. The bartender was excellent and was willing to make a drink and it wasn’t even on the menu. And the server Went out of her way to make a special accommodation for a request. The bad: The music level was ridiculously and distractedly loud. You could barely hear yourself think, let alone have conversation without yelling. I love music and go to concerts all the time so I’m accustomed to loud music, but this is the loudest music I’ve ever heard in restaurant and it spoiled the whole experience. And the music was strange. It sounded like recorded jazz (which I love) being played with someone live playing a saxophone to the music and occasionally singing riffs using auto tune. Imagine T-Pain doing jazz. And then crank the volume to ear-bleeding levels. But good news!! I understand they only have that on Sundays!!! So I will definitely be going back — just not on a Sunday!

   I enjoyed the bartender Taylor. She made me a great drink and she was very nice and sweet. She let us know to come back after giving us a short tour of the downstairs lounge! Me and my husband will definitely return for the great food and relaxed vibe.

   We got there at 4:00 on the dot and the lady who served us did it quickly and courteously. She was wonderful and so was the food. We really enjoyed ourselves.

   We did not get any service. Left to go elsewhere. We sat for 15 minutes ordered our drinks & never received them. When I went to the bartender asking where our drinks were she had no clue what I was saying & tells me that they were busier than expected & the kitchen was backed up but I think the servers were not interested in serving the people. Don’t seat people if you can’t handle the rush.

    The staff was friendly upon entering the restaurant and it continued throughout our service for the evening. Our waitress Lisa did as excellent job with food recommendations and she was very accommodating. The flavor of the food was spot on and we will definitely be visiting again.
