The Service, while well meaning, was terrible. The food was better than average and a pretty good value.

The Crystal Room is absolutely gorgeous! The ornate details on the ceilings and walls along w/the elaborate chandeliers make you feel like royalty; it's breathtaking. The ambience is superb!!! The service was great! The staff was very friendly and hospitable. They made me feel welcomed and at home. The food was also good, especially the omelets. The cook, Lecrectia was Awesome!!! The spinach, shrimp and crawfish omelet was so good, I visited 2 days in a row. The Crystal Room is a "must visit" when you go to New Orleans.

Whenever I meet a friend or colleague in NOLA I treat them to Crystal Room. The service is always superb and the food (I usually do brunch) is wonderful with a great selection. It is one of my addictions.

This was my fourth time having brunch at Le Pavillon and by far the worst. The menu was average at best and not the value I expected for $52 per person.

We attended on Monday, April 24th, because it was my friend's birthday and I wanted to treat her to lunch there at La Pavillion. I had not been there in a few years. I did not know that parking was $15.00; and I thought the cost for the buffet was high considering the hot food was not very hot (the prime rib sliced in mushroom gravy was very overcooked and tough). The salad bar was great, the chicken & sausage gumbo was great -- did not like the turtle soup but she did -- and did not have any pasta. The white beans were ok, and the roasted brussel sprouts were fair. The service was terrific -- but there were few guests in the room. The servers brought out a brownie with a candle and we sang Happy Birthday -- the brownie was delicious! We love the ambiance, but the cost for lunch with parking and tip came to approximately $100.00 for two. I don't think I would come back again anytime soon -- rather disappointed and am sorry to say so.

Very disappointed with the salad bar selections. It's now much more limited than in years past. I also miss the very pleasant lady that used to be at the pasta bar.

Beautiful charming place for lunch or brunch. The decor is amazing! The salad bar was a very reasonable price and had many options. I will be returning!

I went there for Valentines night. My girlfriend picked it out. The place has an awesome ambiance with a really comfortable setting. Soft table cloth and soft linen napkins. And it was quiet. Now for the bad...... This place was not ready to handle the night. Service was bad. One waiter and 3 busboys in the entire restaurant. Really?? And one of the bus boys (which was a 55 year old women) seemed like they just pulled her off of the street earlier that day. She had no idea what she was doing. We sat down for dinner and she pours us coffee???? And the poor waiter was more skilled at working a buffet type setting where his only responsibility was pouring coffee and water and handing out the tab. We ordered a bottle of champagne on the wine list that they provided us. It took forever for them to find it. The buffet waiter asked if we were ready for him to take our order before we were even served the champagne. The restaurant must have had their C team serving the place that night. As far as the food...... it was average. I ordered a steak. You can't ruin a steak right? Well this place can by slapping on an awful cream sauce on it. Less is more Mr Chef. My sweet girlfriend ordered pane veal. The was good but the feticini that came with it was missing something. In fact, it was missing everything. No flavor. Do not recommend this place.

We dined here Valentine's night. Food was fantastic, service was AWFUL. Took 2 hours to eat dinner due to slow service. I ordered an expensive steak topped with crawfish, $40, my boyfriend ordered steak tips over pasta, we both only ate half and asked for it to be boxed, but the help "didn't speak English" and pitched it in the trash. They did offer to remake our meals, but we declined. After feeling angry at the loss and expense, I asked for just my steak to be remade but not the sides or other dish. We asked for the dessert menu twice before we got it. Then was told our dessert would be right out . . . but we had NOT even ordered dessert at that point, no one had come to take our order! So we ordered the brownie with ice cream, that was terrible, very dry brittle brownie. We barely ate it. Disappointing. I will say the crab cakes are excellent and the entrees were delicious. Hard to come back with such bad service. Saddens me because this restaurant is beautiful and could be GREAT!!!

This place is a joke only one waiter in the entire restaurant, and then he tells our table we are the first table of the day pretty sad for a restaurant in such a nice hotel. Felt kinda weird that for the first 15 minutes of our experience we were the only people in the restaurant. Then 2 other couples also came which made it a little less depressing. Miguel the waiter was really good, but the entrees was bland and had no taste luckily the appetizers were really good.
