The restaurant’s relaxing ambiance, due largely to the abundant stands of live oak, waterfalls and ponds with lush landscaping, complements the continental cuisine that has offered lunch and dinner every day since 1980. Individual Beef Wellington, Fettucine Alfredo and Shrimp Sauvignon are some of the enduring favorites . The ‘Trilogy’, a very special entrée with rack of lamb, lobster tail and beef tenderloin is ideal for those with a heartier appetite.

A familiar retreat for business luncheons and social events, the lunch menu offers daily lunch specials. The Sunday Brunch boasts five courses. Full table service and live music makes it one of the city’s preferred brunches.

Enhancing the Crumpets experience is the 140 vintage wine list, a complete bar and the decadent European desserts made on-site in the attached bakery. Crumpets Delight and Chocolate Mousse Cake are a few of the favorites.

It was a nice night out with my children (ages 3, 16). I had much higher expectations of the food. At $25 plus per plate, I expected a creatively presented plate with delicious food. The food was tasty, but I've had better for much less. There really wasn't any creativity involved in the presentation either. I wanted to give this restaurant a much higher rating, but I couldn't. I might give it another try, but only if I was in the area.

We really enjoyed our time at Crumpets. We would have preferred choosing our own meals instead of using a fixed menu-but it was Christmas dinner after all!

This experience was disappointing. We were seated 45 min. after our reservation. The food was fine, but on a heavy reservation they were running out of deserts and other items. The parking was a nightmare. Never again!

Our experience at Crumpets for Thanksgiving was great. But, there was a problem with the reservations that OpenTable cleared up. Crumpets originally refused to honor our reservation made through Open Table. I called Crumpets to ask a question and was told I had no reservation and could not make one for hours near when we wanted to eat. I was told that Open Table was supposed to have blocked out Thanksgiving Day. Crumpets required a down payment of $50 for my 2 guests over 4. (I have never heard of such a requirement.) We had a party of 6. After I informed Open Table of the refusal, I received a call from Crumpets saying that the reservation would be honored. Thanks Open Table! You saved the day.

I love Crumpets mainly because it has wonderful desserts, but also because their meals are in the right proportion and very unique and delicious. The scenery is beautiful and the tables aren't too close together. The wait staff are great. I don't want to go to any other restaurant on special occasions.

I recently took a friend there for her birthday. The entire evening was wonderful. I had requested a table by a window when I made the reservation. We were seated at a table with a beautiful view of the bridge in the courtyard. The service was excellent, the salad, bread, main entree, and desserts were exquisite. My favorite entree is the sicilian chicken. I hadn't been to Crumpets in quite a while, and was delighted to see that my favorite chicken dish is still on the menu and was delicious, as always.
