   The Crown and Mitre is a gorgeous diamond of a pub hidden away in a quiet corner of Lynn. The staff are all happy and friendly and very welcoming. It retains a real old world feel and has seating over looking the river. I wouldn’t be surprised to see an old sailor sitting in the corner. The food is outstanding. We had the tempura prawns which were so delicious we are glad we didn’t get a plate to share as we would have been fighting over the last one. My mum had the roast lamb which she said was melt in the mouth and the Yorkshire pudding was so light it could have blown away. She was sorry she couldn’t finish it. I had the chicken schnitzel which, even though a relatively simple dish was cooked to perfection, and so tasty it was mouth watering. I had the lemon posset for dessert and it was so crisp and refreshing it was the perfect finish to a wonderful meal. The total cost including a large glass of wine and a lemonade was £89 but it was definitely worth every penny and will definitely be going again.

   Lovely Roast dinner, the whole plate of food was great. Superb service in all ways and a perfect pint of Guinness. Will be back again.

   Quite honestly, one of the best Sunday dinners I’ve ever had. Every component was delicious and you can tell just how much time and care was taken into making this the best possible experience for the diner. Triple pork was out of this world, the Yorkshire puddings impeccable and the vegetables cooked to perfection. Everything was good and fair value for money. Oh, and the gravy was to die for. Hollie was a friendly and attentive server - and what’s more they serve an excellent pint of Woodforde’s Wherry. A lovely afternoon in very pleasant surroundings, overlooking the Great Ooze. What a gem in the heart of King’s Lynn!

   Excellent meal as ever from walking in and a super greeting from Will and team, delicious fish ( yes I had the sole again) well kept ales and a super selection of wines This is now our go to destination when visiting KL See you soon

   A really nice, little pub with a small restaurant area inside. The service was good, very attentive and polite staff. The food was very, very nice. However, I would have expected at least that for a meal for 2 costing £83! That was for one coffee, a double Malibu, Sourdough bread bar snack, 2 mains and 2 desserts. For a pub I have to say that is a tad on the steep side. Having said that, I would go again as the food was so damn nice! The atmosphere was nice and quiet except for a chap who didn't stop swearing whilst chatting to his mate and other half (who told him off), but that is not the fault of the pub. Overall, lovely pub, very polite staff and great food. Just make sure your have deep pockets!

   Warm welcome as always on arrival from Lydia. My husband and I opted for the St Patrick’s Day ☘️ menu. The food was exceptional, an absolute treat. Thank you’s go to Holly and Louie who served us and another young man. Wonderful to see the place buzzing again. You have got everything just right Will 👍 We look forward to seeing you all again soon!
