   Good selection of entrees. The ones we had were well seasoned and tasty. The only criticism is the food was a bit on the cool side. We sent the appetizer soup back because of that and a much hotter replacement was quickly provided. We will go again.

   Amazingly good lamb chops and grilled, smoky spinach. Parmesan-herb french fries were delicious but a bit too salty. All in all, excellent dining experience!

   Once again, Tony outdid himself. My sister thoroughly enjoyed her dinner. As for MA and myself, we always enjoy eating at The Crestmont.

   We were staying in Eagles Mere for the weekend, and in my research I had read that the Crestmont's food was very good. Still, and all, we were blown away by how delicious everything was. My wife said it was among the best meals she's ever had. We both ordered the truffled scallops with mushroom cream sauce and split a grilled lettuce caesar salad. We also ordered two complete desserts — they were big enough that we really should have split one — and both of those were delicious as well. We both expressed some surprise that such a good chef would actually still be working there during the off-season, when there were very few visitors/tourists in town. But that was to our benefit, as the restaurant was quiet and pleasant.

   Chef Tony cooks up great meals and has a very good wine line. He has monthly theme dinners that are well received by the community-at-large and hosts a wonderful Bed & Breakfast.

   The food was fresh and excellent - enjoyed the spring rolls as a appetizer . Wish we had room for desert, it looked scrumptious.

   Salmon was excellent. Sav. Blanc wine just ok. Starter salad with poached pears was yummy! The food is the star here. Dining room and bar are quite gloomy and depressing. Lighting very harsh. Felt as though we were under a spotlight, with nowhere to relax! Nice live entertainment, outside. Service was horrible (and we aren't fussy about waiting for the next course). Waitress was very inattentive, I really believe she forgot about us. The table next to us sat unattended for about 15 minutes until their drink order was finally taken. This was on a Thursday night, when only about 3 tables inside, and 4 outside, were occupied. Not sure what the problem was, but it wasn't nice. As I said, the food is the star, but it doesn't really make up for the bad atmosphere and service. Hope the owners work on this. SusanO

    We were recently in Eagles Mere and made a reservation at the Crestmont Inn. They called to invite us to a wine dinner, rather than having a regular dinner in the restaurant. We decided to go with the wine dinner and it was a great decision. There were 8 courses of perfectly prepared food that were paired with delicious wines from around the world. We plan to go back.
