   Stopped at the Creamy Spoon for a business huddle prior to an important meeting. We came for brunch. Both my associate and I had omelettes and they were well prepared, fresh and creatively composed. The staff was welcoming and attentive and the whole vibe was very cool and casual. Kudo's for a well run establishment with an authentic approach to serving customers.

   The Creamy Spoon is a great find - we were more than pleasantly surprised by the excellent cheese plate and entrees we ordered - wonderful salmon, very good crepes and an excellent burger. The desserts were also perfect examples of French patisserie. Most surprising, although the wine list is only a handful of vintages, the Pinot Noir was beautifully mellow and lush - a real find. We intend to go back soon!

   Creamy Spoon is in a storefront on busy Glendale Avenue. Inside is a pleasant surprise, bright with Euro charm. What's not to like about a menu that offers all-day breakfast? I ordered a spinach, mushroom and cheddar soft scramble that was light, moist and well-seasoned. The fine chop on the spinach gave it more refinement that I expected. I don't usually eat all the potatoes that usually come on the side but these were a nice medium dice and perfectly crispy on the outside, so I did end up eating them all. My friend enjoyed the Bretagne crepe. The server could have been more attentive; that's the only reason I knocked off a star. I look forward to trying it again.
