   Skip the line at El Bagel—unless you’re really craving a bagel. Tucked right next door is Craft, a gem of a breakfast spot that deserves more attention. I had the Verde with salmon—a fresh, flavorful twist on avocado toast that really hit the spot. My wife ordered the rosti, which was just as satisfying, and my son went for the chicken and waffles—light and perfectly balanced, not your usual heavy-handed version. With great food, friendly service, and shaded outdoor seating, I’m not sure why the crowd’s still lining up next door. Don’t be a lemming—walk the extra 50 feet and enjoy a better breakfast.

   I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this place. Came to eat here by chance when I originally planned to get something to go from El Bagel but forgot they were closed on Tuesdays. My boyfriend that was with me suggested we try CRAFT since we were both hungry and it is right next door. CRAFT has several locations throughout Miami and had seen them several times, but always thought of them as more of a lunch/dinner place. I am glad I was wrong as both our dishes and coffee were great. This specific location is in a great spot, only a block away from Cocowalk and with plenty of outdoor seating for people watching. They do have ALL their menu available all day. I know because it was 9 a.m., but we couldn't pass up trying the bacon wrapped dates (they were delicious, definitely try them). I had the classic breakfast, and my boyfriend had the potato rosti (see pics). I liked that they were able to do the scrambled eggs as egg whites, and both dishes were generous portions. I was expecting the bacon in my dish to be 1 or 2 strips, but it was much more. Several of their dishes come with a tomato relish that was amazing! Overall, it was a great experience. I will be checking out some of their other locations.
