   Aweful. I am not sure how this place stays open. First, very steep steps up to the second level is the only way to enter. Second, it is a crab place and we ordered two crab dishes and they were out of both. Third, prices were very high. Last, we could hear tje table behind us complaining to the waiter about how bad the food was. They were the only other people there. We got frustrated and left.

   We were the only diners there and yet the speed of service was slow. Drinks were overpriced and ours arrived with a fly in it. We were given a replacement at half price. They were out of crab cakes at 6 pm. Waitress could not explain menu items we were unfamiliar with. Food came out one plate at a time. First my entree. Then the appetizer. And finally my husband’s entree. Quality was ok. But expected more for the price. I had a shrimp pasta dish. Shrimp was over spiced and too salty to enjoy. Management was friendly and visited us twice. But we will not be returning. I’m not sure if this is a restaurant trying to be a nightclub or a nightclub trying to be a restaurant.

   The food was mediocre at best. The best thing was the crab fries. The waitress, who was a little off, forgot to bring our hush puppies, the oysters were blah and the seafood boil was definitely something different. For the owner to be from Florida, I was expecting some amazing seafood. The boil lacked seasoning. The sausages were still pink, the crabs tasted like water, shrimp wasn’t clean. The best thing was the corn. The boil was full of butter and a hint of garlic. I won’t go out my way to come back.

   Made a reservation for 07:45pm arrived a little earlier. Was told by the hostess that at 08:30pm we would have to leave because they will close to set up for night life and then open back up with an limited menu at 09:00pm. Me and my friend decided to sit at the bar. Wasn’t greeted by the bartender whatsoever. Waited for 5 more mins still no acknowledgement. A young guy brought over water. Thinking well if we don’t get our food order in we won’t be able to eat. My friend asked one of the bartenders can we place an order , she right I’ll be right with you . A few minutes went by the other bartender cane and said I’ll take your order in a minute meanwhile everybody is making drinks but not taking anyone orders. We just decided to get up and leave because after sitting at the bar with nothing but water for about 20 mins is beyond ridiculous.

   Was a Saturday night around 7:30. We sat there for an hour and our food never came so we left. The service was just not good.

   I could not rate the food because we never got served. We was seated told to go online for the menu and no one came over after 20 minutes - no drinks or anything. I asked for our server but no one showed up so we left. As we was leaving out the door a hostess said to us thanks for coming…I guess she can say she did her job. Terrible customer service.

   The food here is always great and their special drinks are hefty, good and strong lol. They are definitely worth the price. Will definitely be coming back.

   It was a beautiful evening for date night with the great server Breanna. Drinks was amazing & food was delicious. Only issue was not having the heading up about last call on the kitchen. Next I want to try crabs fries

    I’ve never had a bad experience at Crab Boss. Food was great, drinks were strong and tasty, and the rooftop view is AMAZING! I only wish they had bottomless mimosas for brunch.
