   Had a nice outdoor table overlooking East Beach. Relatively small but focused menu. True to coastal italian / mediterrean theme. The young service staff are all very friendly and checked in with us regularly. We had a great middle eastern style starter of roasted romesco / chickpea and then a whole branzino and the salmon. Everything was excellent. Had a nice bright sparking Lambrusco with the food. As an SB local dining at the Hyatt would not typically be my first choice however we had such a great experience we can't wait to go back.

   Everything was great. Greeter had the best recommendations for our coastal road trip. Matt the server was perfect, great recommendations. We had the branzino (stellar!!!!!) and the olive oil cake, as well as a bunch of wine. Was the best meal ever. Will return for sure.

   We LOVE Costa, it’s a hidden gem on the beautiful Santa Barbara Coastline with absolutely delicious food, drinks made to perfection, excellent service, the best ambience with couches and comfy lounge chairs if you want to look over the ocean or proper tables both inside and out with beautiful views. They did an amazing job updating the restaurant during Covid lock down and for now my husband get to benefit from having such an intimate and private dining experience every week whilst SB locals take their time figuring out that this spot is open. We’d selfishly love to keep this place a secrecy for ourselves but know that if Santa Barbarians don’t realize it’s wonderful ness, that it might go away. Go treat yourself, the prices are solid and the casual chic decor is just a perfect place to have a date night or just a random drink out with your friend!

   We went there for our anniversary; they Offered a glass of champagne for us they were lovely. The food was not so good. The olive was very salty. Even the Waitress tried one and agree the dinner arrived cold not even warm. The desert was ok.

   It was such an amazing experience, food was great and service was amazing! My husband loved the bone marrow and I enjoyed the squid ink. The botanist drink was a hit!

   We wanted to give Costa a try as it is newer restaurant. Sam was our server, very professional yet didn’t know how to execute the slow kitchen. We waited about 40 minutes for our purchased bread and mussels. It was strange because they were only six tables seated and all had their food. It wasn’t busy at all. Not sure if Sam forgot to put the order in or was it the kitchen? After the delicious bread and mussels we order our meals. The rack of lamb was prepared medium rare and my husband loved it. My daughters had the bolognese and the clam linguini. I had the citrus salad- all entrees were very good. The dessert we ordered was the pistachio shortbread however when we were all digging in we couldn’t find the shortbread. We told Sam and he acted this time and brought out the chef and he appropriately apologized and stated that a chef in training put this out without having it checked. He instead gave us the olive oil cake complimentary. We were happy to try the other dessert and found this was away better way to handle the situation from the appetizers. I’m all for an apology but to not address it it gets a bit awkward. I think once the kinks are straightened out ,this restaurant will do well because the chef does a wonderful job!

   We will definitely come back. The food and service were great. We all tried different dishes and everything was super tasty. The chef came out to introduce himself and I thought that was very professional. Nice and clean atmosphere where you can actually have a conversation with everyone at the table. A new gem in our town. Thank you!!

   From the moment we were greeted until we left, everything was perfect! Impeccable service, beautiful and peaceful atmosphere, and delicious food. We had our best dinner in Santa Barbara! Well done, Costa!
