Located in Historic downtown Fredericksburg, Virginia, Cork & Table is a chef-owned and operated restaurant serving dinner; we feature modern American cuisine with French influences. Our specialty involves the pairing of wines with our fixed price menus, consisting of three, four or six courses. We also feature menu selections which cater to or can be adapted for those with particular dietary needs, such as gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, and vegetarian. Our setting is modern, casual and unpretentious, but the quality of our food and the attentiveness of our staff create a memorable experience for those special evenings.

A very good restaurant with an exceptionally dedicated chef. Cork and Table is up scale restaurant. It serves small, artistically prepared portions in a quiet, comfortable setting. The food is modern American with emphasis on healthy eating with numerous gluten free natural ingredient offerings. The four course prix fixe menu is well thought out and paired with appropriate wine offerings. The wine list is superior with many selections not available in other local restaurants. I was pleased with the lamb chops entre, corn and chowder soup appetizer, roasted portabella mushroom with blue cheese salad, and coconut ice parfait with strawberries deserts. My party also shared the chacuterie which was smaller than expected, served with dijon mustard, cottage liver pate, sliced salami and prosciutto. Curiously, there was no bread to included on which to eat the chacuterie and had to be asked for. Perhaps a "health" option? Otherwise the service was good, waitress knowledgeable and friendly. This restaurant is much loved by one member of our party who has special dietary needs which she feels were more than adequately provided for by the offerings available on the general menu. This restaurant is recommended in general and for special occasions and if dietary restrictions would prevent dining out otherwise. Cost for three people all ordering from the prix fixe four course menu with with 20% tip and one bottle of Nave d'Avola Blanco (white sicilian wine, lower cost) was about $275.00 on a Thursday night. Evening reservations via OpenTable were readily available.Is this helpful?

This restaurant is unique in that it’s prix fixe menu offers a variety of selections from appetizers to desserts that are expertly prepared and contain fresh ingredients. There are recommendations on wine pairings that were excellent. Our party of four all said it was one if the best meals they’ve had in a long time.
