Traditional Cuban sandwiches and plates by day. Tapas and cocktails of Old Cuba by night.

Our small plates are inspired by the flavors and diversity of 19th century Cuba, a time when Havana's ports welcomed ships and traders from around the globe.

Our bar program pays homage to the deep and rich history of classic Cuban cocktails while employing the bounty of North Carolina to generate novel and intriguing creations in the spirit of Prohibition-era mixology.

Our lunch menu is inherited from Old Havana Sandwich, which built a loyal following over the course of 7 years. Our award-winning Cuban sandwiches are made with our now-famous, slow-cooked pasture-raised pork, sourced locally from a young farmer.

We are proud to be the nation's first truly farm to table Cuban restaurant and a living wage employer.

The item on the menu was the pork chop. I thought that they had a nice selection of items. My problem was with the service. If you are 5 people, you should make a reservation for 6 and say one person cancelled. The only way they would accommodate 5 was to put an end seat at a 4 person table. I also had a problem with the food service. The "Tapas - entree" came just after we had received the first course so we had to get the waiter to take it back. There certainly wasn't room on our small table! The waiter was knowledgeable and good, but the servers could only identify the food by the Cuban name which was 'Greek' to us.

They were out of basically everything on the menu. The things they did not prepare in house like the Charcuterie , Olives, and Wine were fine. Lamb meatballs absolutely pitiful.

Food and service were excellent. They got us in and out in time for our show at DPAC. Good variety on the menu.

I wanted to like it!! The food was very expensive if it was supposed to be small plates. The cocktails were overpriced and not tasty. Food and drinks came out at scattered timing. . The food itself was tasty, but part of it was barely warm( a sort of cornmeal bade ). The waitress was very attentive and apologetic for the unevenness. Our bill was over 59 dollars for very little food. I want to like it and would return to retry minus the cocktails ( we love craft cocktails and have had delicious ones all over downtown and south durham.

We had a delightful dinner before going to the DPAC for a show. Copa had a menu setup just for the purpose of getting folks in and out to the show in time as they are so close to the theater. The food came quickly and the service was attentive, of course we were the early pre-show so that helped. We had a nice menu selection which included dessert. The food and cocktails were great and the atmosphere really nice especially for the price. Note: We came from Raleigh during rush hour on I40...give yourself a good 45 mins for driving to Durham these days (our show started at 7:30).

The food was fine, the drinks were good, but the service wasn't great. The drinks took a long time to arrive (they didn't come until after the first course was delivered and I had to inquire about them) and our server was pleasant, but not very attentive.
