   Food was excellent. Service was terrible. The server made several mistakes. Wrong steak was delivered. Drinks were never refilled. Overall we enjoyed our time because the food was good but service was pathetic.

   First time eating at Connor's. Our steaks were cooked perfectly to order and their flavor and tenderness was very good. Sides were all excellent. The strawberry shortcake is fantastic. We will be going back many times to try the entire menu.

   The service was great, the server was a little too attentive! There is a fine line between overly attentive and not attentive enough. Sometimes the guests want to chat and are not in a hurry.

   Noisy, it took a while for food to come out, food was not simply prepared but very “busy” with too many ingredients added to my salmon entree.

   The sirloin was very tender. The crab cakes were made with fresh crab meat. The fire roasted cream corn contains onions and bacon, something I was unaware of that. The sever knew the menu and quietly was attentive to us.

   Went to celebrate our anniversary. We ordered an Old Fashioned cocktail and glass of Meiomi Pinot. For entrees we ordered prime rib med rare with creamed spinach and a wedge salad. Wedge salad was delicious - lots of blue cheese, bacon, diced tomatoes and balsamic glaze drizzle. Prime rib was fantastic. Fork tender and perfectly cooked mid rare. Au jus was weak and lacked flavor. Creamed spinach was good - needed some seasoning. - salt pepper nutmeg. Ordered the special aged Delmonico steak. Med rare with loaded baked potato. $60. The steak was raw which made it chewy. Should have sent it back. Potato was cooked nicely and loaded up. Dessert we ordered strawberry shortcake. It was highlight of the experience. The shortcake was almost like a cobbler crisp topped with diced macerated berries, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Heavenly! $189 later (including tip). Was a learning experience. I recommend everything except the steak.

   One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Tallahassee since moving here in 2020. Everything was wonderfully prepared and presented. 20/10

   We invited friends to Easter lunch today at Connor’s. Our server, Thai, was very nice and helpful. However, I had a couple of issues. Our appetizers came and before we even started on them, our entrees arrived creating awkwardness. My husband’s soup did not arrive with the others and didn’t come until after his entree. I had ordered prime rib specifically asking if it was reheated before making my decision. I was assured not but when entrees arrived, mine had obviously been reheated and I sent it back. New plate was better but still not medium rare and barely warm. Other entrees were without complaint and crème brûlée was delicious. Was a little embarrassed in the beginning with our guests. A $240 lunch should be handled better. Happy to have Connor’s here and hope this was an anomaly. Will be back for another try.

    We were promptly seated, service and atmosphere was great. Food was outstanding!! Seasoned to perfection and was delicious!!
