   5 of us regulars had my birthday lunch there. I had a nice card,cand they treated me to a strawberry shortcake (which was big enough to share).

   The food wasn't good. Salmon was very dry and no taste to it.

   This was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I have had. The only good things were the 2 filets we got and our appetizers (fried green tomatoes and shrimp). The shrimp pasta dish stated a coursing cream sauce, and it was not only lacking the creamy sauce but tasted scorched. The New york strip was DRY and overcooked on one side. When the waitress came to check, we were offered a replacement meal for the pasta, but we opted for dessert instead. Not only did it take 45 minutes to receive our dessert, but the creme brulee was separated and tasted like scrambled eggs. We left feeling duped after spending several hundred dollars on a meal we only semi-enjoyed. 👎

   Excellent, Excellent, Excellent!!! Connors never disappoints and it is a true hidden gem in Sarasota, Fl. We have been coming here for the last 3 years and each time it is a perfect dining experience. The meat cuts are outstanding, the portions are just right for the price points! Their lobster bisque is one of the best in town and you must try their Calamari too. This family owned restaurant knows what they are doing, from the quality meats to the amazing service from their staff, we not only highly recommend Connors, we wish they would open another location in Lakewood Ranch, Fl. Thank you Connors family for doing what you do best!! Keep it going because you are already outdoing your competitors! See you again very soon. Maggie and Robert

   We had a lovely meal again! The staff are so kind and welcoming from the moment you are greeted at the hostess stand till the point the meal is complete. We requested our server, Joey. What are wonderful server. He makes sure that everything is perfect. Checks on you without being intrusive. Just a pleasant young man doing a great job. Our table had different entrees and everyone was so pleased with the food. Very fresh and prepared perfectly.

   Connors has very good steaks because they start with very good quality products in both the steaks and the seafood. They are also very reasonably priced in today's world of $80+ steakhouse dinners (for one). My only negative is that I did not care for the espresso rub - but I did order it so.....

   I ordered the sheimp and fries which were delicious. My friend ordered a Rueben which I was told was fabulous. I will return.

    Our favorite place for a nice lunch. Their prime rib sandwich is excellent with a side. Today we chose creamed spinach. YUM!
