   Great new brunch menu. The Scotch egg and the fried oyster dishes were excellent. Great service and bloody marys

   Wasn't impressed with the preparation of dishes I had ordered. The Escargot in marrow butter served inside a bone was a little over the top. Couldn't taste the escargot and was greasy. The rabbit prep was good as was the presentation. Not a fan of the smoked taste with this dish. Would have enjoyed much better if was just fried without all the :"extra" Had no idea what to do with the sauces served with it.

   I had the chicken skin sandwich, Delish!!!! Met a friend for lunch. She had chicken salad, very good. Nice atmosphere. This fall they will have a rooftop deck open...

   Our first time dining on the roof top patio. A very pleasant atmosphere . Wednesday is fried chicken night. Fried Chicken, mashed potatoes, collard greens, and corn bread. It was all delicious. Be sure and ask for the house made hot sauce!

   Attentive, but not overbearing service. My wife had the rabbit, which she found tender and enjoyed tremendously. I had the squid ink pasta with clams, mussels and shrimp. This dish was prepared superbly. It had a reduction on it that gave it an interesting flavor that made you want to keep having another taste. The shrimp were perfect. This was our first visit and we'll definitely be back. They also brought us a complimentary piece of honey pie with ice cream to share, because they thought we had to wait too long for our food. Not necessary at all, but the pie was terrific as well. We enjoyed every bite and we are not usually dessert eaters.

   Overall experience was excellent. The food selections are different but each one we ordered was more than we expected. The salads were perfect and I came for the first time because of the recommendation of a friend for the lamb osso buco and it was done perfectly. The only negative is parking. We were lucky to find a place right in front on the street, which is the only place (that I know of) where you can park. Don't let that dissuade you from enjoying some of the best food in the tri-state, bar none!

   One of the best meals I've had from start to finish. The biscuts with homemade jam rival that of any country grandma. The hanger steak was cooked to perfection with the fries and homemade aioli and homemade ketchup were the perfect accompaniment. The salted honey pie with buttermilk icecream was the perfect finish to an amazing meal. Add in the amazing staff who take such care to make sure everyone is happy and you can't go wrong with a meal at Commonwealth!!

   Biscuits were outstanding. Rabbit was well cooked but very under-seasoned. No hint of salt or pepper in the crust or the meat itself. Necessitated using the sauce with every bite unfortunately. The sides were delicious.

    Top notch service, gorgeous architecture and decor, fantastic flavor combinations made from local favorites. Feels upscale in your mouth while achieving a perfectly casual vibe. Get a creative cocktail (or two) and gorge on a variety of satisfying small plates. The gnocchi and biscuits are not to be missed!
