   The smoking in the Beergarden really killed it for me. Can’t dance as people dance with their drinks and their cigarettes in their hands. Dangerous. my friends and I we had to leave. T A terrible experiences I can’t believe that the venue exposes the musicians to that environment. The band was awesome and very professional. Not sure if I want to experience that environment again

   I have been dinning at the Commercial regularly. Why, the food is great Pub food with healthy choices, although I would love for Sticky Date pudding to be put back on the menu. Staff, can't fault them and the main reason I keep going back. Like a second family to me.

   Long que to get served Drinks should be served separately to meals 1 1/2 hour wait for meal Chips were cold Not much salad

   My meal was perfectly cooked stake tender cooked to perfection, the staff friendly and helpful, definitely coming back for more.

   The food and service was great. Obviously very popular so the Nest gets a bit noisy but to be expected.

   An enjoyable meal at Commercial Hotel. Food delicious as usual and great atmosphere. Meals took a while but understandable due to time of year and xmas get together. Only issue was we booked through Open Table to ensure we were assured a table - but there were no reservation notice for us on any table. Looks like this way to book with the hotel doesn’t work… my only negative comment. Over all, great time :)

   No sign of the reserved table, was told by staff 'to sit where we wanted.' First round of drinks, unable to have the wine I ordered, no wine glasses. Ordered our meal & 2nd round of drinks, not only no wine glasses, no flutes as well. Had our 'bubbles' offered to be served in a Coca Cola glass.🤷‍♀️Meals arrived, no T-bone left, offered replacement, Rib fillet ordered, pork ribs arrived, mentioned ordered rib fillet, was told that kitchen was told it was ribs and 'it would take too long to cook', not to mention the obvious absence of the $13 'prawn topper' (4 small prawns in a ramekin). Unfortunately our experience was not the best.

    We were quite disappointed with our experience at the commercial. Given the new renovations we were looking forward to an enjoyable Father's day dinner. We chose to eat in the beer garden so we were able to catch the footy game but the televisions were constantly glitching & pausing. The pub had just one staff member on the till taking orders so it took 30min for the milkshake we ordered to arrive. The food was mediocre. Kids had a steak sandwich which was good but my pork belly had rubbery skin instead of crispy skin & the meat was dry & chewy. Hubby's ribs were ok but the coleslaw side tasted like it had been made earlier in the week and the cabbage was sour & fermented. Then there was the table sitting near us that were clearly intoxicated and they started playing their own music at high levels from a portable speaker. Staff members just walked past as they sang, vaped & played their music at high volume disrupting the rest of us. We won't be back.
