   The drinks were perfect, Oscar was great. The food was delicious, our server Brian was excellent and comical.

   Dined here last night if you could even call it that more like ripped off. Came to celebrate both mine and my wife’s birthday. We used come often before covid before the renovation. The place was updated with large glass window and vinyl plank look floors and open lattice wall separating the dining room from bar area. By doing these updates no thought put into the fact of the noise bouncing off these surfaces. Nothing to absorb the sound. Our waiter was good, drinks were good and the Cesar salad and that’s where it ends. The menu is very limiting and for the price you would expect prime beef. I make better steak from Sam’s. We ordered the rib eye which was bland no bark no bone with a pin drop of chimichurri sauce which we asked for more. The fingerling potatoes were 3 small whole balls and asparagus that was extra thick and no sauces are offered. The waiter sent the owner upon us leaving who wanted us to try them again after I told him it was awful. He made no effort to comp anything so what Incentive do I get to eat here again? Don’t come here a waste of our hard earned money. Spent to renovate with shortsightedness of serving quality! Never again!

   Food was good but Very Expensive. I knew the prices but for that cost I was expecting higher quality food and service.

   Renovation of the restaurant is well done, more modern and clean aesthetics. There's been a lot of social media hype about the food and unfortunately it did not meet expectations. Steaks are ridiculously priced.

   The food here was TERRIBLE, everyone's meal took forever to come out, not one steak was cooked to the correct temperature - I ordered halibut and it was so well done, it was dry and inedible. My kids ordered steak and it was not done correctly one over done and one basically raw. Also I think they forgot to add salt to everyone's food. The taste was bland and disappointing. Very costly. The manager came over to ask if it was ok and when we told him about this, he just walked away and did nothing more. I will never go back. What a waste of money. To make matters worse it was my birthday, we told them, but nothing was offered like even to ask if we wanted dessert. One positive was that our server was attentive. I think her name was Meredith.

    We really enjoy Colts Neck Inn. Food, Drinks & Service (Jamie) & staff are friendly & extremely accommodating. My husband loves the steak. The best for value.
