   We were very disappointed because we thought we were going to a nice dinner. It was during Sundance and tables were hard to come by. Upon having a cocktail, we asked for a dinner menu and were informed they no longer serve dinner. We were shocked but were able to squeeze in dinner with our children at another standby restaurant. Wished we had known this before.

   There is not actually food served here. Not sure why they even take reservations on Open Table.

   Unfortunately we were told upon arrival that our party of 3 adults and 3 teenagers was not permitted in their restaurant registered as a “bar”. This should have been made more clear on the reservation. Website.

   Our group of 4 on a Sat night enjoyed the character of 3 cognition red wines that we tried, but all 4 of our dishes were unimpressive and very poorly prepared. 2 of us had Halibut and both fish cuts were dry and overcooked, with the wild rice side being partly cold when served. The lasagna was too "tart" from tomato acid. Although the restaurant was only about 3/4 full and linguini was in multiple dishes on the menu, the chef literally refused to provide a side dish of simple linguini with garlic and oil; our friendly server was embarrassed to have to report that to us. It tells me a lot about a chef's "customer service attitude."

   Gina and Dennis, the owners of Cognition, personally made sure we were happy with our table, food and drinks. The food was fresh and delicious - wine superb! The music - one young woman playing guitar and singing - was the perfect ambiance. We'll definitely be back and bring our friends!

   Interesting venue. Food was good with a very limited menu. Wine making is a few cases a year so the price of the wine is quite high given the level of product. We took advantage of a two for one entre offer so we had a good value. For Park City this kind of a one off location is pretty nice for a different kind of dinning experience. As it develops it needs to have two or three signature dishes that can be counted on for every visit along then with specials that offer a creative option to bring customers back to be regulars.
