    Local business - great setting (comfortable seating) and pleasant staff. No takers in our party of 6 for the starters Main course nice but a poor choice and some nice deserts.

    Great food. Didn’t know until we got there that it was Steak night. 2 Steak Dinners and a Bottle of Wine for £30. Brilliant deal and very tasty.

    Meal was good but a number of us had to return meal as not exactly as ordered (group of 8). However any errors very quickly rectified.

    Had an excellent Christmas lunch with work team. Service was brilliant as was food and table. Then retired to bar afterwards. Very comfortable.

    friendly warm welcome, gorgeous steak, creative tasty starters, quiet atmosphere. love my puddings but the dessert menu could be a bit more inspiring, crème brulee disappointing.

    We had a very enjoyable lunch gathering. Service and food were excellent. Gluten free and vegetarian prepared specially. Lovely old lounge and dining room. We will dine here again. Staff very pleasant and helpful
