   Great anticipation for the strawberry shortcake but it’s not eatable with water from the frozen strawberries shriveled not fresh and the biscuits were tough hardened like hockey pucks. Overall my daughter and husband enjoyed their meals and desserts.

   Had the basic eggs and bacon breakfast. They were just fine, especially the bacon that was cooked well and crispy. Only the potatoes were disappointingly boring. Aching for real home fries, cut thin and with some onions thrown in. Great service. Quiet space. Leisurely pace. Lots of time to talk with friends.

   Ian was our server and was a delight. He was attentive and entertained the requests of the two children and us adults with such kindness. He’s a gem! Give that man a raise! Good food. Child friendly and something for everyone.

   The restaurant was not crowded. We were allowed to check in early. The service was fast and the staff was friendly and polite. I was impressed by the concern for allergies. I’ve gone to this Clyde’s many times over the years. The food choices have changed, but I will return.

   Food was excellent. Initially service was slow but as the meal progressed our server became more engaged and the quality of service ended on a high note with a special appearance by the Easter Bunny, which simply elated our 1-year old granddaughter. Made the day.

   This place is consistently good, but the outdoor patio is hit or miss. Some diners might enjoy having dogs by their side while they eat, but it can detract from the outdoor dining experience for others (some kids are scared of dogs when they bark, sometimes the dogs growl & bark at each other).

    We have been going to Clyde's for years and have enjoyed it, but this time was disappointing. The food was not great. Caesar salad didn't have much flavor. Crab soup was waaaaay too thick. Server was excellent. Prices a little high.
