Hi All! My husband, children along with my husband's work client had dinner at the Clackamas Claim Jumper on Easter Sunday 2025 (4/20). We had a 6:30p reservation. Parking was good and the place was not too packed, surprisingly. The restaurant seems to often be pretty busy with no easy access to great parking. I was happy to find the closest parking spot to the front door - yay! Our booth was clean and comfortable and the people provided good service. The egg rolls and fish were well done; almost too well done, but I prefer well done then undercooked, so no huge issue right there. My fries were warm - they had been sitting for a while and my fish was not too hot. My middle child's meal was forgotten; the guy asked if he had forgotten items and my daughter advised that he had done so. He did apologize, but I don't see how her lobster macaroni and her other plate of chicken was missing. He did swiftly return to the table with her food. My strawberry Margarita tasted bland and did not taste like it had strawberry flavoring at all; I barely drank it. My husband's alcoholic drink had very little alcohol added; he had to ask for more alcohol to be added. There was a nice woman worker who spoke nicely to our group as we exited the building and the ambience was nice. I don't plan to return anytime soon; the ambience was better than the food. I think the food is too expensive due to the taste and quality just does not match the price. I don't mind paying for a quality meal, BUT it has to be a quality meal. I am not upset and I am happy my group was able to get together on this blessed Easter Sunday, but we should have maybe visited the Oswego Grill or another restaurant in the area. Claim Jumper will be okay, if they do just a little bit better. Overall, it was okay to good service at most.
