Citrone is an American fine dining restaurant. This eatery was established in 1998, and has enjoyed tremendous success ever since. In addition to its delicious cuisine, Citrone has won an "Award of Excellence" from Wine Spectator every year since its inception. The restaurant itself is located inside a historic building built in 1902, and maintains much of the original structure. Citrone's menu splits between local California cuisine and Mediterranean fare. Appetizers include hummus, seared ahi tuna,grilled shiitake mushrooms with roasted peppers, mussels in a spicy white wine broth and burrata with roasted peppers olives, capers and basil. As for entrŽes, some of the specialties include duck in lingonberry sauce, dry-rubbed lamb chops and four cheese manicotti baked in both red wine and white wine sauces.
