   I made a booking at Cielo in February. It was only by good fortune that I checked a few days before we were due to visit and discovered that the restaurant is closed and has been for several months now! We received nothing from the restaurant to indicate that the restaurant was closed. If anyone else has a booking there I would suggest that that make alternative arrangements ASAP.

   It’s shut !!!!! Nothing on your website you can not even cancel the booking !! Why are you still letting people book this restaurant it’s closed down !!!

   We arrived at the restaurant to find it was closed after speaking to another restaurant it had been like that for a few days and other guests had turned up to find it closed too. I understand these things happen but there should have been some notification.

   I had booked at this restaurant for my husbands birthday sunday 6th march at 7pm. We arrived and it was in darkness. The place was closed and i hadn’t even been contacted to let me know. Absolutely disgusting

   Having used your extremely good booking app,we arrived at Cielo to find it closed! We tried phoning,no answer, checked opening times and checked on line, which showed restaurant open. Along with several others in the same position we felt very let down. The manager from the adjacent Piccolino restaurant saved the day for us all and provided an excellent alternative. Cielo set such a poor example by not even contacting people to save all the inconvenience and disappointment. Won’t be booking again! I ticked scenic view in recommendation only because I had to select one

   We booked Cielo via Open Table for a special meal on Sunday 6th March. We had a reminder from Open Table the day before asking us to confirm we were still going which we confirmed. We arrived at Cielo only to find that the restaurant was closed with no sign of life at all!! We went across the road to Piccolinos who told us that it had also been closed on the Saturday and they didn't know what had happened. Not a great experience for a special night out. Opentable please update your information on this restaurant so no one else is disappointed.

   This is laughable but assume computer generated request for review. What can I say a wasted and ruined weekend. It comprised part of a mini birthday break, lunch, concert and overnight stay. Cielo was closed, we were not the only disappointed customers. It was cold and in our 70s no desire to wonder aimlessly trying to find an alternative decent restaurant, all of which I expect would have been fully booked. It proved better to attend the concert and forfeit the money we spent on the room for the evening at the nearby hotel and head directly home. What a waste of money!! Had Cielo let us know they were to be closed then we could have reviewed the situation at home and enjoyed our break, as it was just a total disappointment.

   Last week I had booked to come and have lunch on Sunday 06/03/2022. The reservation was booked in at 2pm and I had received confirmation of my booking via email. You will be able to check your records and see that I have made my reservation for 2 people - This is because I was on a first date. When my date and I had arrived at the restaurant, we were shocked to learn that the restaurant was closed. The doors were closed, the lights were off, and nobody was inside. This left us both saddened and annoyed, as we were not only excited to come to your restaurant, but it was also very difficult to find reservations elsewhere at such a late stage. Not to mention, I was left completely and utterly embarrassed in front of my date. It's safe to say that this has left a very bad taste in our mouths to the point where I won't be using your services again in future - it's safe to say I will be posting about this utterly disappointing experience. Your restaurant comes with a high reputation, and I am sorry to say, I haven't experienced anything worse!

   I booked a table for 2 through this app. My husband and I went for drinks first and when we walked up to the restaurant we found it in complete darkness. We were fortunate to be accommodated at Piccolinos opposite where we have eaten many times. And it’s excellent there. I only chose Cielo as thought we should try somewhere different for a change. I am only writing this review in the hope someone pulls their finger out and updates the fact this restaurant is closed.

    We booked a week in advance for a table on Saturday night. Arranged a hotel and entire evening around the restaurant booking, rushed to get there on time only to find the restaurant locked up and in complete darkness. What should have been a lovely evening was ruined, is it too much trouble to pick up the phone to let us know you wouldn't be open? Very poor service, not happy at all.
