Located a few steps down, on the swath of Sixth Avenue sidewalk known as Father Fagan Park, this little snuggery has a winning air of relaxed authenticity.

Ciccio, is a neighborhood Italian Alimentari (Food) & Bar, featuring the specialties of Florentine cuisine through its quality prepared ingredients. The idea of this restaurant is just the simple elegance of traditional Tuscan food using local ingredients. Signature bread alongside a perfect piece of pecorino, and a glass of Tuscan wine to enjoy alongside Florentine dishes such as: Panzanella, Pappa al Pomodoro, Ribollita. The kitchen is incredibly tiny which I think contributed to the delay in our orders coming out from the kitchen. I was slightly frustrated by the lack of attentiveness from the servers. It’s a tiny restaurant so they shouldn’t have to be waved down from chatting at the host stand. The table sitting next to us, a party of 5 were obnoxiously loud and were over served liquor wise which I feel should’ve been de-escalated by management in order to make our meal more pleasant. Aside from my criticism which I hope will be taken constructively, the food was phenomenal and the ambiance (aside from the boisterous party) was lovely.

The food was delicious and our waiter was so delightful. The downside is they closed too early on a Tuesday night because we were having a good time.
