   We just moved from Chicago to Seattle and have been looking for restaurants to replace our favorites that we left behind in Chicago such as Kama Bistro. With my wife being vegetarian some of our favorite restaurants are restaurants that serve Indian foods as they often have the most amazing vegetarian dishes. As many people know there is a vast difference between a merely good dining spot and a truly GREAT restaurant. I would like to say waste no time MAKE A RESERVATION! Chutney's is AMAZING!! The owner is a wonderful gentleman who personally made sure everyone in the dining room was having a great time. The food was WONDERFUL!! if there were any criticism I could offer at all it would simply be that they serve wine but not liquor. We had a very nice pair of red wines with dinner and enjoyed ourselves very much. I cannot stress this enough please patronize this hidden gem. It will reward you with wonderful food and great experience. We drove for two hours to have dinner here and will do so again many times in the future.

   Chutney's is our favorite restaurant in downtown Bellevue. The staff is always incredibly welcoming, making you feel right at home. We're crazy for the steamed curried mussels paired with any of the flavored, fresh-baked-to-order naan. We can't get enough! Chutney's is our #1 pick for date night. There's always ample affordable parking in the connected garage. And we love the owner, as much as the food. He is the heart of the place, never failing to meet you with a warm greeting and making absolutely sure you are well taken care of while giving you a few good laughs. We go for the food and stay for the homey atmosphere.

   Chutney’s offers no indoor dining but allows reservations to be made to do so. I was very annoyed. My date and I were stranded in downtown Bellevue but found a quiet corner in another establishment ... fortunately.

   Amazing experience. One of my favorite Indian restaurants I’ve ever enjoyed. If you appreciate Dishoom in London or Babu Ji in NYC, Chutneys in Bellevue is in this esteemed company. Excellent!
