   My daughte's warm spinach salad arrived half baked and baby spinach was not used. They offer no wild fish on their menu. My husband and I ordered the same exact steak, but they looked entirely different in appearance. We really wanted to like chops, because of the location next to the Theater.

   For the prices the food should be good. Had to ask for bread, mashed potatoes were dry, steak was not cooked well. Service was not what you would expect from a nice steakhouse. they were just not as sharp and professional like you would expect. We went multiple times and every time the seemed to disappoint. I will go to Ruth Chris for a nice steak, they never disappoint.

   Beef stroganoff was watery with a big dollop of sour cream on top. Wasn't offered another drink or water refills. Not up to Chops reputation.

   The mushroom stuffed appetizer was served cold. Not even close to warm. I ordered steak and Losbter for my dinner. The potatoes were cold, steak was warm my lobster was warm aswell. I chose not to order desert cause our bill was already over 150.00. Service was great and wine selection was good. My husband dinner was on the warm/cold side too. He ordered oysters for appetizer. They tasted ok but were very small. Almost not worth the effort. We didn't complain to the server about our cold food. My husband and both worked in costumer service for many years. We would rather just not go back than complain about both of our meals. Thanks

   Chops Folsom has a nice location and atmosphere. The service was good. Although the prices are a bit high, we looked forward to great steak dinner. Despite steak being the restaurant specialty, the NY steak was disappointingly fatty and tough. They did provide a good complimentary dessert to the birthday celebrant in our group.

   We have been wanting to try Chops for some time and finally got around to it, but I wish we wouldn't have. I have not been so disappointed in a dining experience in quite some time. From the start of being seating with only menu and place setting to share between the two of us, to a warm spinach salad that was cold and oily to the absentee service, there is no reason to go back.

   The server was very in experienced and SLOW. There were only two tables no excuse for slow service. Food was mediocre at best and priced to high. I will not go back.

    We arrived early and were seated because they were not busy. The cocktail waitress arrived immediately beflore we could look at the menu. Suggestion: The hostess could point out the wine list and the fact that there are specialty cocktails listed in the menu. Ordered cocktails. We ordered an appetizer, told the waitress what we wanted to order for our dinner but didn't want it all coming at once. Our salads came first instead of the appetizer. My warm spinach salad was not warm and I had to ask for more dressing. The dressing was a heavy olive oil with some herbs sitting on the bottom. The salad was tasteless! I ate the bacon and eggs but couldn't eat it. After a long wait, our dinner arrived -- no appetizer!
