   We have eaten @ Cholla Steakhouse. This time we were taking our son-in-law and daughter for a birthday celebration. Fantastic as always. Perfectly delicious.

   We had a very enjoyable meal. The steak taster was a nice treat and the sorbet palate cleanser was very tasty!

   First time there was amazing…this time was less than desirable. Our steaks were over cooked. We told the waitress and we watched her tell the chef who promptly shrugged his shoulders and ignored us. The waitress took off the desert but for what we paid, and considering there were only two other couples there, the chef should have at least spoken to us, not shrugged his shoulders. It’s okay. I get it…we weren’t important to him. Our money will go elsewhere.

   We saw so many TV ads for Cholla Steakhouse so we decided to try it. Everything was excellent - service, food, and decent pricing for steaks, etc. The crabcakes appetizer had 2 good size pieces, perfect for sharing. I tried the elk tenderloin, which was nice and I didn't really notice any kind of "gamey" taste. Most entrees included 2 side dishes, which you have to pay extra for at most other steakhouses. The place is pretty small, so be sure to make a reservation far in advance.

   Always enjoy visiting Cholla's. Often visit Casino Arizona for dinner and then a show. It's a small restaurant next to the theater with a nice bar and great food. The service is always exceptional.

   The little filet mignon sampler bite was full of fat. So much I was skeptical about ordering the filet for dinner. Actually ordered the full house and asked for no bearnaise sauce but it was put all over the steak. The steak was still bland and the shrimp were tasteless. The mashed potatoes would not even melt butter i put on because they were not hot. Bread basket was enjoyable. The restaurant is very small . It was our first and last trip to this restaurant. Even with the sauce mistake, the service was very good

   Cholla is one of our favorite places to have a nice dinner. My only comment is that there is a need for a 2nd bartender. With 8-9 people in the lounge, it took some time to receive a drink. Otherwise, the hostess and all the servers were timely and friendly. Thank you.

    This was our first visit to the Cholla Steakhouse. It was a very nice experience. The food was perfect and staff very attentive. We will definitely go back.
