   Fantastic. Group 4 adults & 1 toddler- went to the earliest seating possible. Welcome is superb, food is out of this world creative and authentic. Enjoyed this very very much! Got really buzzing in the evening for cocktails and dinner.

   The waitress took the wrong order. Fair enough it happens. But then it just kept happening after we let them know. The wrong food just kept coming. Then, at the end of the meal, the wrong bill of course. When we sent that back, the next bill was wrong as well. The last bill was good and included a service charge of 12.5%.

   We were sat upstairs and it was freezing(!!) because the restaurant front door opens onto the stairs to the first floor - there was a curtain in place which I think was an attempt to manage the draft but as it was baltic outside, this helped very little. I ate my meal with my jacket on, as did the couple beside us who kept their scarves on too. As it's only mid-November, I dread to think what it'll be like in the thick of winter. They need more heaters at the very least if they don't plan to introduce a door to the upstairs. When I popped to the loos in the basement, the atmosphere seemed much more pleasant downstairs as I think the people were simply more comfortable and so able to relax. Sadly the service wasn't good either. We had finished the first sharing dish before our cocktails arrived - table water never arrived. The waiter was trying his best though, it felt more like the bar/kitchen couldn't handle a busy Friday night. That said, it was after 9pm when we placed our order and some tables had emptied, so you would expect them to be a bit more in control at this time. We left as soon as we finished our mains as we were too cold to stay for dessert.

   Interest variation on Chinese food, although not sure how authentic. We ordered a selection of small plates and mains. small plates were generally tasty. Mains were awful - all options seemed to consist of very fatty cuts of meat. We opted for the beef short rib thinking we might get some meat content - but no, totally fatty. Staff were nice although got basics wrong - serving white wine at room temperature, seemed perfectly normal. Would not recommend.

   We were looking forward to trying this place, but were a bit put off by some of the negative reviews. However, I'm pleased to say that we didn't have any problems and we loved it. The menu was interesting and included lots of dishes we'd never had before. The Century Egg/Baby Gem small dish was delicious, a real surprise. A mushroom and tofu main course was quickly eaten up and the cabbage and cucumber side dishes were also very tasty. There's a really good choice here for vegetarians and vegans. My other half also had a lamb dish which he loved. We found the service to be friendly and efficient. Staff took time to explain the dishes and seemed genuinely pleased when we said how much we'd enjoyed them. The only slight negative for me is that it is a little bit cramped. Our table was ok, but I'm not sure I'd want to have the table for 4 which is against the wall. Several days later though we are still "mmmmmm" about the food - we'll definitely be back.

   FIRST WHEN WE GOT THERE THEY'VE ALREADY SET UP THE TABLE FOR US, WHICH IS PRETTY NICE. BUT EVERYTHING AFTERWARDS WENT NOT QUIET AS EXPECTED. HALF OF THE STUFF ON THE MENU WERE NOT AVAILABLE. AND THE WAITING TIME IS UNBEARABLY LONG. THERE WERE ONLY TWO STAFFS FOR THE WHOLE FLOOR, WHICH MAKES THE SERVICE QUIET OFF AS WELL. NOT RECOMMENDED.

   Had to wait for a long time for the food, which arrived a dish at a time. May be due to short staff, but after all the excellent reviews this was a let down. Food is nevertheless good if not slightly pricey for what it is. Will be good to have breakfast menu available at dinner. Would try it again to give a second chance

    In a nutshell, food was alright but waiting staff was clueless. This place was recommended by a friend. Table was not ready when we arrived, we had to wait 20 min or more for our drinks and there were long waits between dishes. For a restaurant that recommends sharing dishes you'd expect that they at least make sure that a few of the dishes are on the table at the same time rather than clearing the table after one sharing dish before bringing the other much later. The waiting staff forgot a food order (rice) as well and rather than ensuring it comes out quickly as it was accompanying another dish (which was now getting cold) they tried to find out why it wasn't on the order receipt...but they made sure to add it to the final bill without further apology. It was also uncomfortably cold with the door being kept open all the time. To add a positive note, the duck leg was lovely but I wouldn't recommend this place, small portions made it poor value for money.
