I've liked the Chicken Shop since it first opened in St John's Wood. Simple menu and you know what you are getting. The chicken is always moist and tasty. Not too many sides - the recently added Smokey Beans weren't exciting. The last few times I haven't enjoyed it as much and on this most recent occasion, I could see our food sitting waiting to be served whilst our server was busily chatting to someone. When we managed to get her attention, she served our food straight away and then we had to send back the chicken and the beans as neither were hot. The Chicken Shop is good value for money, can often be very noisy - and I'd like to see the addition of maybe a green vegetable to accompany the chicken or at least a new salad. Having been there a several times recently - think I'll wait a while before going back - but the chicken is really delicious!

What a great place. The air conditioner meant there was a slight cold draft, but that aside, everything else was great.
