   Took friends for lunch, our first visit, table was first class, the service was spot on, attentive but not overbearing. The ambiance and decor was in keeping and could not fault the meal. Top marks for standard of service, will visit again soon.

   Poor onion soup, chewy crispy duck smothered in hosin sauce, prawn/monk fish thermadore pre cooked and monk fish chewy, lacking in flavour, veal smothered in salty sauce, even the vegetables were dry and looked like recycled lunch portions. Barely pub food standard. Will not be going back. Didn't complain, we were never asked 'how was your food'...... says it all!!!

   Work lunch for 4. Really impressed with what they've done with the place. Food was delicious service was good. Only negative on where we were sat and the heavy bench seats that made it a bit tricky for everyone to be comfy but that was perhaps a quirk of where we were and only tables certainly were not all the same. Would go again

   We had tried several times to get a table at this restaurant & now know why, it was well worth the wait. The service was impeccable, the food fabulous in fact apart from maybe being slightly high end price wise we could not fault it.

   This is the third time we’ve eaten here in less than a month. It’s a bit of a trek from home but we’ll worth the effort.

   Was a shame that we the only choice was a Sunday lunch for tje Sunday we went in. We were only looking for a light bite as it was too warm to be eating such heavy meal like a full Sunday lunch. Food was beautiful for what we had but it was just too much so neither myself or my husband enjoyed it.

    The food was fantastic, we had Sunday Lunch. I had the beef and I was asked how I prefer mine cooked, I like this as an option as I like mine rare and not many places offer this. I only scored the value down a mark as the price of the coke cola was a bit pricey which was £3.80 for a pint, but other than that it was great value.
