Our family met for a birthday and all I can say is the food was amazing and the service was too. We all went home with take home boxes and even the three year olds cleaned up their plates!Is this helpful?

The food was OUTSTANDING. We ordered Mutter Paneer and Chicken Tikka Masala (along with Buttered Nan) and I was in heaven from the first bite ‘til the last, savoring the exquisitely artful blend of exotic flavors, delighted with each fragrant forkful. If you dine here, you’ll be treated to some of the finest Indian cuisine in the Greater Phoenix area. The service needs serious attention in order to bring it up to the level of the food. Our waiter seemed as though he’d never been trained in service, let alone supervised; when he finally delivered the bill to me covered with grease, it was a fitting finish to his long line of careless and clueless service faux pas. Fortunately, my elation over the quality of the food helped me look past his ineptitude. I would have brought this to the attention of the owner or manager, but there seemed to be no one over the waiter who had anything more than a “J.V.” (Junior Varsity) understanding of fine dining service. Also, there were numerous things broken in the restaurant (the booths are unusable; do not try sitting in them; the table have much better lighting anyway; and numerous items in the rest room were broken and unusable; this is a theme throughout this restaurant). The chef here is so excellent that I must stress that this restaurant is a culinary treasure for our community. If Chennai Chettinaad Palace brings in a front-of-house manager to train the waitstaff in proper service and attention to detail and brings the service here up to the same level as the outstanding food served at this restaurant, it could be one of the finest restaurants in North Phoenix. Please support this restaurant. You will be absolutely delighted by the outstanding quality of the cuisine served here. And I hope that the owners/managers will take action so that in the future we can also be delighted by the quality of the service experience as well.Is this helpful?

Service nonexistent . We had a 5:30 reservation. They had just opened. Our friends were already there and we joined them at a booth...no one in the restaurant and no one came over to take our order. Staff all around getting tables ready. 5-10-15 minuets.?We had to flag some guy in a tee shirt down. Never even knew if he was a waiter or not. Embarrassing as we had recommended this place to our friends since we had been there before and enjoyed food. Food was good but ruined by poor service .Is this helpful?

The food was absolutely wonderful! And it arrived at the table not too long after we ordered it which was nice. The only qualm I had was that the service was... different to say the least. We weren’t greeted when we sat down, we weren’t greeted after a couple of minutes of looking at the menu to see if we had any questions or wanted to get drinks started, it wasn’t until we were finished looking at the menu completely and set them down that we were approached ( maybe a minute after putting the menus down) and asked what we wanted to order. I’m not sure if that’s an authentic Indian service practice or not, but it was a bit strange for me. I will definitely order carry out from them again though, as the prices are reasonable for the portion sizes, and the food really is I’d say the best Indian food I’ve had in Arizona.Is this helpful?

Terrible! We left the main courses after taking a few bites. I asked the waiter for a scotch on the rocks he responded with "the bartender is off". I had to go with him to the bar and point out a bottle of scotch. Then told him It's served in a rocks glass with ice, he showed me a metal cup. In a raring of 1 to 10 this place gets a 0.Is this helpful?
