Not what we were expecting. The food and the staff made up for that quickly. Hidden little gem.

Our family has been in Venice since 1986 and we have been loyal customers of yours for all these years. We were extremely disappointed this last time. Waiting for over an hour for ANY food to be served was unacceptable. To leave and go to another restaurant was inconvenient for our 92-year-old Mom, but we had no choice. Someone should have closed the restaurant and called us to let us know that you were under-staffed or whatever.

We were disappointed with this venue and decided not to eat there. The atmosphere was nothing special, it smelled like strong lemon and not a pleasant smell. No one was in the restaurant at 4:30. The menu is not the same as posted. No lobster! I think it should be taken off Open Table as an upscale restaurant. I have no opinion of the food, as we didn’t eat there.

We actually did not dine here. We didn't realize that this was a hotel restaurant, and when we arrived, there was no one around. There were tables set, but the entire place was empty, no host or hostess, servers, nothing. The hotel staff didn't know why, but pointed us to the poolside tiki bar where they thought they may be serving food. There was loud music and we had no interest in that, so we left. Very weird and I have no idea why this place is on open table.

First of all food was terrific all four of us very happy with our entrees. Although we did feel the calamari appetizer was a little tough. Everything else done perfectly. Our server was very attentive and there was background piano player. This place has a lot of potential. The physical layout of the fine dining area needs to be a bit smaller and made more intimate. It’s hard to run three different dining options and do them all at the top. Currently have the Tiki Bar, the bistro and fine dining. But if you want some tasty food this is the spot.

This was for dinner with family I had not seen in a while. The food and service were outstanding. Chef Rolf made this a memorable event. We were staying at the hotel and opted to have most of our other meals there as well.

Made on-line reservation, received confirmation but when we arrived, we discovered that the restaurant was closed for a private function. So then had to find somewhere else to eat at 7 on a Friday night.

Had a fabulous brunch! Filet and crab cake were delicious! Mimosa was freshly prepared! Service was quick warm friendly and efficient. As a bonus restaurant design was accessible for the mobility challenged ! Overall a great experience worthy of a return

Our party of 8 was the only table in the entire restaurant from 6:30 until 9:30. Not sure where the problem lies, but service was extremely slow. As our entire party discussed; selections and flavors were nothing spectacular and ambience is very bland. Not thrilled about the lack of patrons as the turnover of product becomes a concern. We most likely will not return as dining options are so plentiful in Sarasota.
