   We had a lovely evening and I am definitely going back. First I must say we had the best waitress, Destiny. Our food was great. Every ones meal was cooked to perfection. And dessert was decadent.

   Beautiful and relaxing dining experience, chic decor and fabulous food. The music was a perfect level, loud enough to enjoy without feeling like you’re talking over it. Our server was gracious and professional, very attentive the table. Looking forward to returning. Thank you!

   Wonderful dinner. The lamb was absolutely amazing! The tuna tartare was one of the best I ever had!!! We cannot wait to come back and try more menu items. The patio is a perfect relaxing place to sit.

   Atmosphere and food was good. We was about to be seated even though we was an hour late from our reservation. Portions for the protein was a little smaller than I’m used to however.

   My wife and I recently had dinner at Chayote. The restaurant is beautiful inside. Obviously, much thought and planning was involved with the interior design. The chef has a very eclectic menu; however much of the food was overpriced and overly complicated with too many ingredients. There was nothing wrong with the chef’s imagination and innovation but none of the dishes had a familiar taste or composition of ingredients. The menu was small. There were no menu items with red/black beans and rice. I had a skirt steak which was good but served with mashed yuca and an a spicy sauce. I was charged $3 for a small portion of chimichurri sauce. My wife wanted ice tea but they don’t serve ice tea. The escargot was mushy and tasteless. The empanadas were over fried. My wife’s trout was good but she complained about too much oil on the plate. I will say the staff was very polite and helpful. So, the restaurant is very professional and attractive. The lighting was well done and made the atmosphere somewhat romantic. I think it would be an improvement if they offered baked chicken with red beans and rice as one of their options. John T
